1st time for service Took my car in for the first scheduled service. When my car was done (unwashed) they returned it to me with seat in a weird position. It was obvious the tech had moved the seat even though they could not have driven that far ( from the bay to the stall to the lot). Needless to say I think they should leave the seat in the position it was unless they cannot enter the vehicle. They did not offer to give me "rain check" for the "unwashed" car, instead telling me it was too cold to wash! More

She asked what I was there for and then showed me to the waiting area where there was coffee, tea, and fruit. My appointment was @ 4pm, and I arrived just a few minutes before. All I came in for was an oil change and tire rotation on my used vehicle I purchased through the Capitol Auto Group. I didn't end up driving away from the lot until nearly 6pm! The Capitol Auto Group uses a texting system which I received an initial text from my service rep from. I thought the tool would be a great thing, but I guess my rep ended up leaving because after responding to the initial text, I never received a response about my car being ready. I was actually walking around the waiting area and an employee (attending to someone else at the time) mistakenly called me by someone else's name, only to realize that it was me and that my car was ready. In addition to the time taken and not letting me know my vehicle was ready, the complimentary car wash service was very rushed. The trunk wasn't vacuumed. It's the small things that matter. The front end of the service center is on point. Prompt attention to the arriving customer, interest in their wants/needs, and an escort to the waiting area that's full of nice amenities. The rear end leaves a lot to be desired. Price is 3 stars because I asked about an alignment, and the price was $129.99 or $129.95...that's a bit stiff. More
