Great experience purchasing my new Silverado! A few weeks ago I purchased a new Silverado LTZ Z71 from Jim and Ron at Capitol. I grew up in Austin and know that I have a lot of choices when it co A few weeks ago I purchased a new Silverado LTZ Z71 from Jim and Ron at Capitol. I grew up in Austin and know that I have a lot of choices when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. I want you to know that I had an incredible experience at Capitol with Jim and Ron. I get it, who says that about buying a car. It would've never been me until recently. I had toyed with the idea of getting a new truck for about 8 months and had spoken with Jim Miranda before. I had a 2014 Silverado that I purchased new at a competitor Chevy dealer in town and was thinking of trading it in. I ultimately decided to wait on the new purchase and then Jim reached out to me at the end of March asking if I was still looking. He mentioned that there were some great incentives expiring soon and if I was ready, he'd love to help me. After doing some research on pricing and trade in value online, I headed to Capitol Chevrolet. Now, every Chevy dealer in the area responded to my online quote request but I went to see Jim because he showed the initiative and reached out to me first. When I arrived Jim spoke with me for a while to determine what my needs were and then had me work with Ron Favis. Turns out Ron also grew up in Austin so I knew I was in good hands. Ron listened to what I was looking for and then pulled exactly what I wanted up for a test drive. Anyone that's driven the new Silverados knows they are an amazing ride. Ron and I spent some time chatting about the truck and reminiscing about old times in Austin. Ron made an effort to know me as a person and understand where I was coming from, which made a difference. When we sat down to finish the paperwork everything was explained and we settled on a fair price for both the trade in and new vehicle. They weren't trying to get me to overpay on the purchase price and also gave me fair market value for my trade in. I felt comfortable and trusting instead of my guard being up, which is what it's like with most of their competitors in town. The real standout was the incredible follow up after I purchased the vehicle. They didn't just sell it to me and get rid of me. Both that day and the next day they took care of me. Cleaned and detailed my new truck, spent time showing me all of the features of the new truck, helping me setup and transfer my OnStar account, etc. I mean wow. The day after, as well a few weeks after, both Jim and Ron called me to check in and see how everything was going. These things did not happen at your competitor when I purchased my 2014. I bought the vehicle and never heard from anyone in Sales again until they wanted my trade in. I hadn't planned on purchasing the truck that day but the ease and comfort I felt with Jim and Ron made that happen. It's the first time in my life that I've had this kind of service purchasing a vehicle and Capitol Chevrolet has won a customer for life. I'll also be directing my friends, family, and colleagues to go see Jim and Ron for their new vehicle purchases. Please make sure Jim and Ron are recognized for their outstanding service. I can honestly say I'm completely satisfied with zero complaints. It's nice to know that this level of service still exists in Austin! More
