I always had good reviews but this time we took the truck for service Monday and I understand it takes 2-5 business days to get looked at but I haven’t received a call on how it’s going or what’s going to ha for service Monday and I understand it takes 2-5 business days to get looked at but I haven’t received a call on how it’s going or what’s going to happen and I’ve called since Tuesday and my advisor Anthony hasn’t called and everyone tells me I will get a call back soon or before they close and nothing today 8/23/22 I called 3 times since 9am and I was supposed to get called back and it’s 5:16 and no call back from ANYONE this is so frustrating and upsetting as we have to call to try and get help. And we get no help at all. More
Sales Department has stepped it up. This recent purchase was all excellent. The Service Department gave a real bad vibe when my wife called and the Blazer EV had 600 miles of service since we bought it when the infotainment system shut down and would not reboot. The at about 940 miles it infected the driving information screen which was 9 days after we first tried to get scheduled in for service on the infotainment screen. During the days from August 13through August 16 Service Scheduler Will projected a more concerned and helpful attitude. Will focused on coordinating a Loaner car with scheduled service if the car indeed would require 1&1/2 to two days to analyze and repair since we are caring for our disabled son who frequently needs medical attention In Houston Texas. That Round trip requires 85% charge and that’s if we don’t incur detours or road construction detours. So charging management that is provided by the infotainment system reduces the risk of becoming stranded in 100 plus car temperatures. We tried explaining that to the first few Service Schedulers but they either didn’t understand the gravity of the situation or the department culture is lacking empathy for elderly and disabled customers. Will seemed to get it and made some attempts to get it repaired or get a loaner vehicle for us but nothing worked out until we notified him on August 16’th when we texted him video of the only remaining driving information that was continuously flashing bright LED LIGHTS and we notified On Star that an emergency might imminent. On Star called Capital Chevrolet Service department at about the same time that we texted Will. Will scheduled the Blazer EV into the service department for 9:00 AM August 16,2024. The trouble was anylize and current updated software was installed by 1:30 PM. So that is something that many Blazer EV vehicles have been serviced with. It would be a good procedure to share with the Schedulers to make better timing estimates. And at least a few of the Techs aware of. The Blazer EV has many benefits that increase the ability of elderly caregivers of Disabled children to function n the caregiver capacity, however, a whole lot of it is augmented by the infotainment system. Elderly caregivers givers also need the piece of mind that comes out of the infotainment system to properly manage charging, maps and routes turn by turn guidance, information of hazards and construction ahead as well as many other confidence assurance. So what started out poorly eventually ended up with sound technical repair but the journey to achieve it was bumpy to say the least. More
