1st Class Salesman I went to Safford RV for the second time to trade up in size my TT. Again I used Greg Berry as my salesman and could not be happier. Each time I have met with Greg he has always been more than helpful and did whatever he could to get the deal done. Our salesperson, Mr. Greg Berry, patiently guided us through the different styles of motor homes and the wide ranging choices within each category. He worked with us all afternoon until we finally were able to make a decision. During the this whole experience, we never felt rushed or compelled to hurry our decision. Once we had made a choice, he sat down with us to work out a fair and equitable deal that we could be comfortable with. Again, he worked with us without adding pressure to quickly move along. After we had reached a point where we felt we needed to have some time to discuss things, Greg introduced us to Mr. Colby Dorman. My wife and I were extremely pleased with his friendly, yet very professional demeanor. Colby and Gregg worked diligently together with us over the next day or two to put together a deal that we were unable to resist. We bought our motor home and have been ecstatic ever since. He was most helpful in showing several units in our price range. After visiting several other dealerships we decided to stop by Safford RV one more time before making a decision. We couldn't find the exact one we wanted and decided to look at travel trailers We gave Greg a call to let him know we were coming. He was delighted to show us several models. Greg is very informative and friendly. He is the kinda of guy we like to do business with. He showed us several and pointed out all the features since this was to be our first adventure with RVing. Greg was great. We had a very good experience and will recommend all our friends that are interested in purchasing RV's. We also had a good experience with Sherry Archie in your finance department. She was very friendly and helpful doing our paperwork She pointed out different ways that we could save money. She was wonderful and took terrific care of us. We also met Stacy Neely running around in the showroom and she was especially helpful showing us alot of different items that would be helpful at the different campgrounds. Everyone we were involved with seem to go the extra mile to help us and answer all our questions. More

We bought our Thor Ace from Safford RV at the Richmond RV show in February of 2013. If the sales rep for Thor was not here, we would have never bought this RV as Greg, the Salesman had just started working show in February of 2013. If the sales rep for Thor was not here, we would have never bought this RV as Greg, the Salesman had just started working there and knew nothing about the coach. We dealt with Noah Ingram in buying the coach. We traded in a 2002 Coachman Leprechaun which we paid about $22k for. We were told by Noah that it was only worth $10k and that we had paid too much for it. We were set to pick up the coach a week later at their dealership. While there, I noticed they had a used sale sign for out old RV priced at $29k, which I looked on their website to verify. How did we pay too much when they were going to turn around and try to sell for almost 3 times what they gave us for it. They also advertised it as 1 owner, non-smoker and no pets which they knew was not true. We did the walkthrough and noticed a couple things that needed to be fixed. We were told it would be cleaned, $30 of gas put in the RV and the parts ordered. Well it was not cleaned at all, no gas was put in and the parts were not ordered. I emailed Greg a couple times with no answer. I emailed Sherry who finally got Greg to answer me and was told they will call when the parts were in. Well by May, and getting the Thor sales rep involved and being lied to about the parts being ordered they were finally ordered. We brought it in to get those items fixed and found we needed a window replaced and the 12v plugs did not work. They replaced the window after going back and forth with the manufacturer and Thor, which they kept blaming it all on the manufacture and Thor and taking no responsibility for their part. I had to call Thor to get a ticket opened for the window to be ordered because evidently Safford couldn't get anywhere, also had to call Thor to find the window had been shipped and received by Safford to find out it was in. Was never called by Safford. While replacing the window they didn't take their time and ripped the decal around the window. They claimed they could not get a wiring schematic for the 12v plugs so they rigged it by putting a wire directly to the fuse box under the steering wheel. So we had to bring it back yet another time to get that fixed. Keep in mind it's 50 miles to and 50 back to the house and a lot of gas. We were told it would take a week, but while we were there another person said they had others in front of us that needed their RV's back and since we were not using it anytime soon it would be almost 3 weeks. We did have an appt for the day we brought it in. We also had issues with the living area slide rattling and the awning over it sagging which when it rained it held a lot of water. When the slide was put in the water poured off and some of that came in the camper. We were told the slide was 'the nature of the beast' and the awning could not be fixed. I finally emailed Thor and asked them and was told that there may not be anything thing they can do for the rattle, but should be check by Safford, and the awning could be tightened. I told Safford that and they did end of tightening the awning and securing the slide a little better. We have had nothing but issues with them since buying the RV. They were real nice at the show, but after we signed the paperwork it went all downhill. Phone calls not returned and emails ignored. Our warranty period is up and we will not be bring our RV back to them for any type of work and will never buy another RV from them. In my opinion, you are selling Thor's product, you should not be talking bad about the company. More
