We can empathize with you in this situation. Our Rapid Recall Response Mobile team has this happen from time to time. I will say that typically Ford is spot on with its software updates, but from time to time they do have issues. Unlike Apple, Ford is unable to provide over the air "bug fixes" found after software updates. That is why when a "bug" is found in a software update, they pause the update from being completed in the first place. There is no "scam", our team successfully completes upwards of 400 software updates a month. This is just as stated a pause to allow for bug fixes to corrected before your vehicle is updated. I hope we can reschedule and complete once Ford has made the modifications to the software.
