I originally went to Colonial Auto because my son bought his car there and he and my husband liked the salesperson. My first impression of Simona J. Holloway Warren was good. She listened to what I was looking for in my 1st new car ever. She seemed honest, knowledgeable, and like she truely cared about helping me. She was not a "pushy" salesperson. We test drove different cars. She made notes of what was important to me. Simona is really a people person. She is warm and caring. She went out of her way to meet me on a Saturday and a Monday, Martin Luther King holiday. She found me the color I wanted with the package and accessories that I wanted. We developed a trust and friendship that I never felt at any other car dealer in Charlottesville. I went to every dealer in town. I liked a few other cars that I test drove elsewhere but no one was as sharp as Simona, and I felt good about Colonial Auto too. Everyone was so nice. I met several of the front reception ladies and they were all pleasant too. When looking at Simona's wall of photos, I saw other friends of mine that bought from her also. After over 25 years of selling cars, it is obvious she is doing something right! I hope the new Nissan stands up to it's name. I assure you Simona stands behind hers! More

William "Chili" Childress was all I could ask for when I went to Colonial Auto Center to inquiry about purchasing a car. It was my first time purchasing a financed car and he was very knowledgeab for when I went to Colonial Auto Center to inquiry about purchasing a car. It was my first time purchasing a financed car and he was very knowledgeable in answering my questions, gave me a good feeling that I wasn't being haggled, he was honest & he didn't try to just put me in anything just to make a sale. I could tell for myself that he was sincere in trying to help me find something I liked and would make me happy. Then I met Scott Draper he was also just as pleasant. Not only did he put his best effort into making my numbers as comfortable for me as he could he also took his time to explain everything to me that I didn't understand. He also personally advised me and helped me make a decision that was very hard for me to make just because of unknowiness. My smile went from big to small but they both worked hard to make it big again and they did! I would without a doubt recommend either Chili or Scott to anyone, they are great and I'm thankful that they made my first experience so pleasant and assuring all within allowing me to leave with what I wanted. More

Rarely have I experienced the level of customer service and goodwill that I received in dealing with Colonial Auto Center. From sales, to service, to management I was treated in a friendly, compassionate, and goodwill that I received in dealing with Colonial Auto Center. From sales, to service, to management I was treated in a friendly, compassionate, and helpful manner, with high regard for my needs, budget, and circumstances. And when I had issues with a purchase I made from them, they went above and beyond to remedy things and make me a very happy customer. I wish all dealerships and service centers were run this way, and had a staff that is as attentive and helpful as this one. They have exceeded my expectations and ended up giving me one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I am a fan for life, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Whether your need is sales or service, they are a fantastic group to deal with. They promised they would take great care of me and that's exactly what they did. Maggie Brown was the easiest salesperson I have come across since working with Tim Cartwright at West Broad Honda and Doug Felici at Danville Honda (as you can see, I have a VERY short list). She was able to beat the lowest bid I received in Virginia for a new Nissan Versa Note S+ lease for my sister. On top of that, her customer service was stellar and she delivered the vehicle to Richmond so that we didn’t even have to make that trip—the week of Christmas. I would highly recommend Sheehy shoppers, especially, to make the drive as their original quote was FAR less than Sheehy’s and they will bend over backwards to assist you in your search. Maggie was never pushy, always returned my phone calls and emails and should my family be in the market for another Nissan or Buick/Cadillac/GMC, I will call Maggie first! More
We had a Nissan Sentra for 15 years that we had purchased at Colonial. We thought we wanted another Sentra when we came in and were met by Shawn Crawford. We sat in the 2013 Sentra and it felt too large fo at Colonial. We thought we wanted another Sentra when we came in and were met by Shawn Crawford. We sat in the 2013 Sentra and it felt too large for my husband so Shawn introduced us to a 2014 Nissan Versa. We liked the size of this vehicle better and Shawn explained that it was narrower than the Nissan but otherwise had a good sized trunk, comfortable seats and good mileage in the city and on the highway. Shawn did not pressure us at all about the kind of car we wanted to buy. He was low key but gave us good information about the differences in the two cars. . After we decided on a 2014 Versa it turned out Shawn was unable to get the metallic blue color that we really preferred with the navigation system. My husband and I talked about it and decided we really did not want the dark blue color (onyx) and we were willing to drop the navigation package. Turned out the demo Versa at Colonial that I had been loaned to drive after we turned in our old Sentra was available for purchase and at a good price. Shawn was patient with us and worked hard to accommodate what we wanted. Since we our both senior citizens, we appreciated his patience and understanding very much. He took all the time needed to make sure that we were satisfied customers, went over the details of the financing options, got me with VanJohnson to set up the loan, called me to let me know when to come in and when the car was ready. Shawn even programmed our radio stations from our old car to our new one. Our whole experience with Shawn Crawford and with the Colonial dealership was first-rate from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend Shawn to and of our friends looking for a new or used car. More
