Normal 6 month, 60,000 mile service I "walked in" for this service and was immediately taken in. Not satisfied While pulling into work my car surged forward as I put my foot on the break to park. I had to forcibly push on the break pedal several times to the fl While pulling into work my car surged forward as I put my foot on the break to park. I had to forcibly push on the break pedal several times to the floor for the car to stop. This was inches away from slamming into my building. I immediately called my Ford dealer to describe the incident. I had the car towed and it stayed for 2 days for observation. It threw no codes and I was told that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I was told that my floor mat might have stuck. My floor mats are secured to the floor. Or that debris from a small critter nest could have caused the surge. Neither on of these reasons would cause the throttle of a car to surge forward by pushing on the break. And it would not through a code if it has to do with the gas pedal. So I am left to continue to drive a car for the remainder of my lease that I do NOT feel 100% safe in. More
