Problems with battery in 2017 Subaru Outback bought there I bought a used 2017 Subaru Outback with 12,000 miles in Aug, 2018. I have had to have the battery replaced 3 times since that time. Each time they to I bought a used 2017 Subaru Outback with 12,000 miles in Aug, 2018. I have had to have the battery replaced 3 times since that time. Each time they took a battery from their " used" inventory and put it in. It wasn't until this past visit , and multiple visits, and the need for jump starts to the car started that they finally with much stalling that they put in a NEW Subaru battery, and termed is as a " Goodwill" service measure. I live in the mountains approximately 40 miles one way from the dealership, so it's not like I can just drive across town. This past visit X 2 it had been minus 17 degrees the morning I drove the car over to them. They tested the battery on a Tuesday and it tested " weak" but rather than replace the battery with a new one, they just put it on the " super charger" and sent me home. I feel like they should have put a new one in on that visit and save me ONE more trip to their dealership. More
