What is a warranty for????? I brought my 2013 legacy a year ago and I was told to buy an extended warranty, it was explained to me that everything would be covered through my wa I brought my 2013 legacy a year ago and I was told to buy an extended warranty, it was explained to me that everything would be covered through my warranty other then brakes, tires, and rims. I thought it sounded like a great deal so I decided to go ahead and purchase it. Since I have bought it I have had an issue with it starting when I made the appointment I told them I had a warranty and they said okay, then when I dropped it off for the appointment I was told that I would have to pay to get it looked at. Told them the gas door wasn't opening they said they fixed it the next time I had to get gas it still didn't work, they said they listened to my speakers to see if the speaker was blown but when I got in the car the radio was off. Then last night I got a flat tire because the valve steam cracked and was leaking, I called this morning and was told by kaitlyn that if it was a manufactures defect is was covered other wise not and it was out of pocket. I explained to her I had a spare on and she told me to make an appointment even after I told her i lived an hour away and I really couldn't wait to get it fixed. I told her the warranty was explained to me as anything was covered other then tires, brakes, and rims the only thing she had to say was she wished she could do something but never offered to help out a bit or to have me speak to some else. I told her this is my 5th Subaru and I have always loved them, but this is the first I brought with them and with a warranty, i also told her i feel like the warranty doesn't cover anything and that I will never do business with them again she said sorry wished she could do something and hung up. I work in customer service and this is not how you create lifelong customers, I regret purchasing my legacy from them. Last after I bought my car I brought it in for an oil change that took well over 2hours I had an appointment and all the said was sorry we got backed up and this was after I got my car back, I never had someone come over to me to give me an update while I was sitting there waiting thinking it was just a quick oil change. Bottom line I love Subarus and I will continue to buy Subarus but I will NEVER RETURN TO BURLINGTON SUBARU AGAIN TO PURCHASE A CAR!!! I have had better service at poulin auto and McMahon Chevy who looked at my car that day and got it back on the road in 10minutes, glad to see there are still good quality customer service dealerships out there that care about the customer and not the dollars. More

Easy, fun, and got my dream car I've been working with the staff at Burlington Subaru since 2014 when I first leased my Crosstrek. Two months ago, we decided we needed a second car a I've been working with the staff at Burlington Subaru since 2014 when I first leased my Crosstrek. Two months ago, we decided we needed a second car and we had the pleasure of working with Jordan Lowe to get my boyfriend a great deal on a new Impreza lease. When my Crosstrek's lease was eligible to move up, I knew I wanted to work with Jordan again to get my Outback. Now, let me say: the Outback is actually my dream car. Seriously. So I really wanted to make sure I got what I was looking for, and be sure I stayed on budget. Jordan made it work! I got the perfect color, perfect trim level, perfect lease, and even got a good deal on some extended warranty coverage--and I didn't have to go a penny over my budget. I've been dreaming of a new Outback for about 8 years, so I'm beyond excited to finally have one. As long as I live in Vermont, I'll be working with Burlington Subaru. More
Would never buy another car there again. We stopped by Burlington Subaru to look at new cars. We have purchased two brand new from them in the past. We were looking for a 2018 and there happened to be a 2017 there that would fit what we were looking for and the writing on the windshield wrote "2017 holdover Save Big". So we test drove, went back and started to talk numbers. They offered less off from the 2017 than I could get off on a 2018 from any vehicle manufacturer. Not only that they offered $3000 less than trade value on the 2015 Outback we have. So I said no thank you and the salesman went to get his very rude sales manager who instead of working a deal, literally came back with the same paper and said if you can't work with this you might as well leave. So of course we did, and explained on the way out that we will never purchase another vehicle from them again and before I could finish he said good, go home and have a nice day. My wife and I felt very uncomforable and very insulted by the way we were treated and will never buy another new car from them. They are selling cars in their lot of the same year as our 2015, with far fewer options in the $23,000 range and they offered us $15,000. All I was looking for was $18k which is less than trade value. They are price gouging people and I hope word gets out on them because there are other options to buy these cars. More

Better Than any Other Dealership I Have Dealt with. I was in the market for a new car. I tried several dealerships in my area and was very disappointed. I decided to look into the Subaru dealership in B I was in the market for a new car. I tried several dealerships in my area and was very disappointed. I decided to look into the Subaru dealership in Burlington. I first looked online at the inventory and and started dealing with Crystal Careau. She Was very prompt to answer any questions i had and was very knowledgeable. I went to the dealership and looked at the car i was interested in. I had dealt with other dealerships with poor results. I was very surprised at how i was treated. Crystal was very honest and i was impressed with her professional manner. I was very comfortable when talking with her about the model car i was interested in. I was very pleased with the purchase of my new car and am very thankful that Crystal was who i dealt with. I would recommend Crystal very highly to anyone looking to purchase a car from Burlington Subaru. Thank you More

Frustrated Brought in at 0730 for a 915 check in time. Did not get to my car until 3:30 still not ready at 5:30. They always say they are short staffed. No relationship to when your service gets done Six hour delay to getting to my car then I had to wait. Car was not washed and I do not have a neat and tidy car but the steering wheel cover was left in the floor. Once I complained the customer service Became better. More
Do Not Deal With Burlington Subaru Beware, something shady is going on at Burlington Subaru. I was looking to purchase a new Subaru and finance it. Ran my credit through Subaru.com’s Beware, something shady is going on at Burlington Subaru. I was looking to purchase a new Subaru and finance it. Ran my credit through Subaru.com’s finance system and it said I was approved. But the finance folks at the dealership “ran my credit” they said I DID NOT qualify through Subaru, and I’d have to use an external bank (with a much higher interest rate of course) which they were happy to put me in contact with. I informed them that I had a cosigner with perfect credit, so this time when they “ran it I “qualified” but only if I put over $3000 down on the vehicle. I was in contact with another Subaru dealership and had them run my credit. I qualified through Subaru financing just FINE, NO cosigner, NO money down. The criminal part is that the other Subaru dealership informed me that if Burlington Subaru had actually run my credit via Subaru finance and I’d been denied, the other dealerships would have seen it and not been able to approve me at all. In other words, they either never ran my credit and lied to me, or they didn’t run it via the proper Subaru channels, and lied to me. Clearly, they did this in an attempt to extract more cash from me at first by trying to force me to take a much higher interest rate, and after that failed by putting a lot of cash down up front. Greedy and Dishonest, they should be ashamed of themselves. Needless to say, I went to the other Subaru dealership and bought from them instead, more on that in a minute. On top of that there were several other problems I encountered at Burlington Subaru. First, they pressured me into signing a non-refundable deposit on a car I liked. Talking to the other Subaru dealership, this is against Subaru policy as it should be a refundable hold which they don’t charge (Burlington Subaru charged it right away). Luckily, I made sure the deposit was only valid if they got me the deal I wanted, which they didn’t. But as soon as I decided to go with the other dealership, Burlington Subaru refused to refund my deposit. I had to talk extensively to a manager to get it refunded and it was done very begrudgingly. They kept insisting they deserved something for “doing the work” (aka trying to rip me off). Not to mention every dealership does the same work. Second, they would not negotiate on the price of the car after the initial sit down, or on the extended warranty at all. When I informed them that the other Subaru Dealership was offering me over $1300 cheaper on the same package, they responded with “isn’t there something we can do?” Yes, lower your prices! That didn’t seem to be an option. So not only was this other dealership actually on the up and up about financing, they also ended up being over $1300 cheaper on the exact same car! TL;DR—Shady financial department, wouldn’t budge on pricing, shady deposit scheme. Avoid at all costs! Too many other good Subaru dealerships in the state to get stuck at Burlington Subaru. More
