Awesome and suprsed! I needed a car! My Audi was dead! And I didn't want to dump money into it. My credit was....lousy. I chatted on line in the middle of the night and ex I needed a car! I was told that a sales rep would be in contact with me. Sure enough, Crystal contacted me the same day. She was very honest and told me my credit was lousy! But in 2 days she found someone who would give me a loan! Overall I will say Crystal and her coworkers have gone above and beyond to take care of a person with lousy credit!!!!! Thank you Crystal!!! The Purchase: I bought my ISM '14 WRX Hatch through Jen Gazzola who worked with me to get a great deal on the car, after coming close to purchasing a car through a NJ dealership (I thought I got a great deal there). I live in the area so I figured it was worth a shot to see if they could match the price. They matched it even with some tacked on extras coming in under invoice. New cars from Burlington also come with free loaner cars during service and state inspections. Since I planned on staying in the area this was a big plus. The Service: For better or worse, the service department knows me on a first name basis. My WRX has been less than stellar in the reliability department, but between this service team and Subaru of America, they have eased the pain. The free loaner car turned out to be huge for me as my car has spent weeks in the shop at times. I've come to them humbly with issues - large and small - and they always do their best to get it taken care of. They've made mistakes on a few things, but I've also had to accept constructive criticism from them on my operation of the vehicle. Ultimately I want to prevent the issues from reoccurring, as do they, so our communication is open and effective for the most part. They probably hate me for how many issues I bring up about the car, but I try to keep my vehicles in tip-top shape. I think they recognize how aware I am with the car and they respect that. Some of the suggestions I made to fix the car or things I caught early on prevented more damage from occurring. I also do my own maintenance and they don't have a problem with it as long as I keep the receipts. This paid off when my engine required a rebuild, Subaru honored the warranty because I followed their oil recommendations along with severe duty change intervals. The recommendations: While at the dealership waiting for a service, I test drove another WRX for the heck of it. I actually went so far as to recommend it to a friend. He ended up buying it (after considering a WRX for years). Many would run from my car as it makes a strong lemon case, but I'm starting to push past the teething issues and actually enjoy it, the best part of owning a new car. A performance one at that. Burlington Subaru has gone above and beyond for me and to the best of my knowledge has been honest throughout. I do try my best not to be a jerk when I'm not happy with something - which I'm sure they appreciate! More

I showed up at Burlington and told Michael my budget and he took care of the rest. I found a car I love and had amazing customer service. I felt comfortable, no pressure to buy, and was taken care of every step of the process. More

In purchasing, a few years ago they tried to sell me the same car - at the same price with a higher monthly payment over a longer period. Same terrible experience with the service dept, my local mechanic performed and identified a known issue with Subaru vehicles and I contacted 1 person who initially scheduled my appointment a month out because he was too overwhelmed with changing tires. Then when I brought it in, they doubted everything I said and told me that unless it's registering a check engine light that the BROKEN part that is under warranty, will just be a nuisance because they wouldn't do anything about it. Crystal Careau - Best Salesperson Ever!!! I live in Syracuse NY and was desperate to get a 2015 Outback. None was available in the Syracuse area, and I sent out inquiries over cars.com. Within an unbelievable five minutes, Crystal Careau from Burlington Subaru sent me an email with the information that she was due to receive the exact car I wanted at her dealership. We completed the transaction by phone and email, and I flew to Vermont to pick up my car the next week. Crystal met me at the airport and we completed the purchase of my car in a couple of hours. The whole process was seamless and quick and Crystal was the most helpful, efficient, and effective salesperson I have ever dealt with in a new car purchase. The ease with which I was able to drive the car back with a temporary VT tag and register it in NY was a process that I wouldn't have believed was possible, so don't let an interstate transaction scare you off! All of the folks at Burlington Subaru were great, and Crystal Careau is the BEST. Plus I got a scenic drive through Vermont and upstate NY! All around one of the most positive car buying experiences ever!! More
Lo e my new outback I purchased a brand new Outback. Got the color and price I wanted. They were very professional. I wanted more for my trade and while they couldn't I purchased a brand new Outback. I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything in detail and all the features of the car before I left.. I checked out the dealership in Plattsburgh New York and found them terrible and rude. I live in New York and bought in Vermont. Says a lot! More

We test drove the Outback and a Forrester, and Phil was extremely knowledgeable about both cars and provided valuable insight into how both work. When we made the decision to buy, we worked with Konrad on financing, who provided all the information we needed. The customer service interactions have been excellent - the dealership was flexible and provided us with a great deal up front. We're looking forward to a long relationship with Burlington Subaru. He had a no pressure attitude and showed me how car buying should be. In the past I've had some bad experiences with sales people pressuring me to buy something I really didn't want and Phil was nothing like that. Phil was very knowledgeable and a down to earth man. I know that no matter what he will be there if I have any questions or concerns. He was very understanding of my needs and did everything he could to accommodate them. I highly recommend Phil and will defiantly see him again when it's time to trade it in. I'm so happy with my Subaru Legacy though it might be a while! More

I brought the vehicle to another garage in the area. Not just a mom and pop shop. They passed it no problem. They are just trying to get a fast buck. I will never recommend this dealership. It's a shame because I love Subarus. I will go out of my way to not do business with these con artists. They give mechanics a bad name. I figured I would be nice and email the dealer before posting on sites like this. They then started the groveling and asking to reinspect the car. Why would I do this? You already proved you have no idea what you are talking about. Do it right the first time and you don't have to worry about repairing your reputation. The counter people were at least nice. More
