I wanted a used CR V because I had purchased a 2005 Honda CR V and really Ioved it. While searching on the Internet I found a 2004 CR V LX at Bryan Honda. Mrs. Reginer Thompson was very friendly and informative about the 2012 Honda Civic that we were interested in. We financed through USAA which made the experience faster. For that reason we had to redo our financing and put in for the LX which does come with AC and Radio. I put a deposit down on my vehicle, because the color and trim line I wanted was very popular and hard to come by, and this dealership happened to have just one in stock. I wasn't able to complete the purchase for another 3 weeks (I had told her it would be 2), but Reginer never pressured me about it, even though other sales agents and even other dealers were begging to sell my car to other buyers who could complete the sale on the spot. Reginer is a gem in the car sales world, as far as I'm concerned. I've long believed (and experienced) the stereotype of slimy car salesmen, but working with Reginer felt like I was working with my favorite aunt: all she was concerned about was that I was getting what I wanted at the best price possible. No gimmicks or attempts to up-sell me on things I didn't want or need, just very kind and sincere. David Johnson handled the financial portion of my sale, and I felt he seemed more like a stereotypical car salesman. He tried to sell me an expensive extended warranty, and seemed very annoyed when I turned it down. I firmly held my ground, and he made a comment about, "There's nothing I can say to change your mind, is there?" When I assured him I would not be talked into the warranty, he did drop the issue and move on, but it seemed obvious that he was irritated about it. I don't appreciate that kind of pressure, but the great experience working with Reginer more than made up for 15 minutes of annoyance. Just know what you want or don't want, and be willing to stand your ground. Overall, I would definitely do business with Reginer again, and highly recommend working with her! More
