I BOUGHT A PRE-OWNED COROLLA IN 2001 AT BRISTOL TOYOTA AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY CAR AND THE NO PRESSURE SALE. I WANTED TO REPLACE MY 1998 CAR SO I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP AFTER RESEARCHING THEIR I AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY CAR AND THE NO PRESSURE SALE. I WANTED TO REPLACE MY 1998 CAR SO I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP AFTER RESEARCHING THEIR INVENTORY. I THOUGHT I WANTED A 2007 COROLLA BUT IT JUST DIDN'T CLICK FOR ME WHEN I TEST DROVE IT. THEN BUDDY SHOWED ME A CAMRY THAT HAD THE SUN/MOON ROOF THAT I WANTED. I LIKED THE CAR BUT NOT THE COLOR. AS I WAS THANKING BUDDY FOR HIS TIME HE POINTED TO ANOTHER CAMRY IN THE LOT THAT HAD WHAT I WANTED (AND MUCH MORE-XLE) AND IT WAS THE SILVER COLOR I REALLY LIKED. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CAR BUT IT WAS A BIT OLDER THAN I WANTED. I FELT I REALLY WANTED THE CERTIFIED WARRANTY FOR AT LEAST 4 YEARS. AT THIS POINT BRIAN, THE SALES MANAGER, CAME OVER TO FIND OUT WHAT HE COULD DO TO MAKE ME HAPPY AND I EXPLAINED ABOUT THE WARRANTY SO HE OFFERED ME AN ADDITIONAL 2 YEARS FULL COVERAGE. SO NOW I HAVE THE CAR WITH EVERYTHING IT POSSIBLY COULD HAVE,A GREAT FINANCING RATE,THE COLOR I LOVE,AND A 4 YEAR WARRANTY. NOW HERE IS WHERE IT GETS EVEN BETTER. WHEN I GOT HOME I WAS REVIEWING THE PAPERWORK AND I NOTICED I WASN'T CREDITED FOR THE $200 OFF INTERNET COUPON SO I EMAILED BUDDY AND SUGGESTED THAT THEY COULD INSTALL A REMOTE STARTER AND WE WOULD CALL IT EVEN. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT BUT THEY AGREED TO THAT AND ALSO APOLOGIZED FOR MISSING THE COUPON. I CAN'T WAIT TO PICK UP MY CAR AND START PLAYING WITH ALL THE FANCY FEATURES. I built my new vehicle on Toyota.com and sent it to Bristol Toyota for a quote. Barbara (internet sales) was very responsive to my questions and quoted me a fair price. When I went in to finalize the deal, they offered a fair value for my trade and had the new vehicle ready within a few days (the vehicle I wanted had to be transferred from another dealership). Both Steve (sales rep) and Brian (sales manager) were friendly and straightforward during the entire process. Anna (finance) was also pleasant to deal with during the closing process. I never felt pressured or lied to throughout the transaction, which was nice. They delivered everything they promised and made it quick and painless. I would definitely recommend this dealership. I just purchased a 2010 Rav 4from Steve Axtel at Bristol Toyota. This is the first time that buyin a car has not been aggravating, frustrating and nerve racking. I am a 63 year old female and have bought many Toyota's since my first one in the 70's. This is the first time that I can honestly say that it has been a pleasurable experience. Steve Axtel, my salesperson, was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeble, patient, cooperative, and flexible. He worked with me every step of the way. There was no "let bring in the big guns" philosophy as in other dealership. I was not threatened, lied to, coerced, or otherwise intimidated as I have always been at other dealerships.I left Bristol Toyota with my new car and had no regrets whatsoever. I felt like I had received a fair deal. From the moment I walked in the door I was made to feel comfortable by everyone and was treated respectfully. What is strange is that when I went to take a test drive and met Steve, I was not actually in the market for a new car. By the time that I left the dealership that afternoon, I was really hoping that I could do business with them. They are a very unique dealership and Steve is not your typical salesman. Finally I have found a dealership truly deserving of selling Toyotas and I will return there for service and to buy a cars in the future. The overall experience of purchasing my new truck was excellent. I worked with Steve Blakely and the sales team to finalize the sale. When the deal was finalized, I felt as though I had made another good purchase from a dealership I trust. I am a long time customer. I have purchased ten vehicles from Bristol Toyota and my son has purchased two. I also bring all of our cars in for service regularly and have a tremendous amount of confidence in them. It was the first dealership when I arrived that didn't run out looking for a sale. They let my sister and I look around. When I was ready, I went and inside and asked for a saleperson. I took the rav4 for a drive and loved it but I wasn't ready for the paperwork. I asked to see them the next day and wasn't pushed into anything. He introduced us to the manager and walked us out. I came in the next day and made the deal that I wanted and bought my car. Brian was worked real hard to get what I wanted. I was very pleased with everything. I told them you really don't know how I could have been but actually there was no need whatsoever to be crazy so to speak. I highly recommend this dealership without all the hassles . After test driving a 2010 Camry XLE, I made my decision to own one. I sat down with Steve Axtell who was in every sense, one of the most honest car dealers I have every dealt with. His professionalism by not trying to sell me something I did not need or want, his knowledge of the vehicle, and his concern in getting me the best deal he could without schmoozing me, made buying a car from this dealership something to think about. After meeting and negotiating with Brian the sales manager, I felt I was being given a good deal. Being a negotiator by trade, I had already done my homework on Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds.com. but I still felt I needed to check out the price with another dealer. I headed over to BOCH Toyota in MA (they boasted being the No. 1 dealer in sales) to see if I could get better pricing. That was one of the worst mistakes I ever made. The sales manager was a bully in every sense of the word. The final price was lower but not by much, and did not include a remote started that Bristol offered. Boch was so insistent that I give them my credit card and accept their lower price. I told them I did not carry it with me and had to go home and think about it. They were not happy by this. I called Steve and told him about Boch's pricing. Steve told me about numerous complaints with Boch quoting one price only to find out the price was different (and higher) when they went to deal with Boch's finance department. Steve said to check out dealerrater.com and check both Boch's and Bristol's reviews. Thank God I did! I went back to Bristol Toyota and it was like a breath of fresh air. I am happy with the price I paid and the AWESOME service that I received from Steve and Brian. Kudos to the both of them! By the way, when I got home, Robert called from Boch's and I told him I didn't care for the bullying I received. He then offered me $1000.00 less than what he originally offered. I said, "No thanks".
