However, a bit more drama in negotiation of the sales price with things like requesting my charge card to show the sales manager the "offer being discussed is serious" and then ultimately leading to a $200 change being made on the card upon acceptance of the offer prior to leaving the dealership to go to the bank for a check to make full payment. I would assume this is to limit "deal shopping" after final price negotiation. This process is a bit of a put off as it indicates the dealer does not trust it's customers. Not the fault of the salesman as he appeared to be following the a set policy and ultimately I obtained the car I wanted for a fair price. More
