I have been looking around for a while now, but ended up driving away with a new car today!! Allie took her time to show me the inventory and educate me on all the features and benefits of each car I was interested in. She made the whole experience nice and easy for me, and she got me a great deal on my car. I couldn't be more excited about my new purchase. Lies, crooks, cheaters, avoid at all cost. I purchased a used car from Brighton Ford. It was used but the salesman claimed any safety issues were corrected. Battery was completely dead. Called my salesman and asked him why he didn't just replace it or at least tell me it needed to be replaced. Got the car checked out and it came back with about a thousand dollars worth of repairs. I had purchased an extended warranty. My crooked salesman told me I couldn't use the warranty right away and had to wait thirty days. That was a flat out lie. Took it to another ford dealer and they were very helpful and agreed that there was no waiting period for the warranty. The car I purchased from Brighton Ford was a Chevrolet. With the ford warranty you can take it to chevy too. I took it to chevy and they submitted the bill to ford warranty. Ford warranty sent someone out to look at the car being that I had just purchased it and there were a lot of repairs it needed. Ford warranty denied the claim for repairs stating Brighton should have replaced the issues before selling the vehicle. So I called Brighton again and they stated they refused to fix it. Called ford customer care and spoke to someone who claimed they contacted brighton and that brighton would take care of the issues. They had my car for two weeks. I went to pick up the vehicle and asked for the parts they replaced and they stated they didn't have any. After purchasing a car, and then having to get a rental and miss work waiting for the car to be fixed I reluctantly took my car and hoped for the best. Couple weeks later, replaced my tires. The next morning, I had a flat tire again. Took it in and was told my rims were shot from salt and corrosion. Contacted ford warranty and was told rims weren't covered. At this point, I was done. I missed more days of work and traded it in for a Chevy lease and had to roll what I owed into my new lease. Once I traded it in, the dealership I traded it into listed it for sale before they sent it to auction. I was able to view the carfax and according to brighton ford, when they were supposed to do all that work, all they did was repair a tire. My chevy dealer told me I could get money back for my warranty that I didn't use if I went to a ford dealer and showed the odometer statement of when I traded the car in. Bill Brown Ford processed it for me and told me Brighton Ford would get the check and I would have to contact them and that they will probably say that they never got it. I was dumbfounded. How can a Ford dealer deny having someone's money that is owed to them? Especially after ripping me off. After weeks of phone calls and threats I finally got my money. That was the worst experience I have ever had. As I have told this story to anyone that deals with Brighton Ford, I always here other people have similar experiences with this place. They are a crooked shop that for some reason Ford doesn't shut down. I wouldn't want my name on that place but despite all the negative Yelp reviews and others I have read, they seem untouchable even though Ford knows they are ripping people off. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them. More

Poor Service Dept. Tried to get oil changed twice. Both times it took over 2 hours. No explanation. Had to bring car back last time due to check engine light coming o Tried to get oil changed twice. Then they get a porter to put on a new rear wiper blade, he breaks it, and fixes it with a zip tie. Don't worry they say, no charge. Gee thanks. Con artist Went in to lease a f150 on Thursday at 5:00 pm after 3 1/2 hrs finally left all aproved and ALL the paperwork signed. Talked to the financing manager and salesman and both guaranteed me I would be leaving in my new truck that evening . I did just that. 5 das later brighton ford called me and said I had to return the truck cause the finance company wouldn't finance me now. What the xxxx kind of dealer ship tells a customer they are all good to go and they meet all the requirements for the lease, including the down payment credit score ( also I'm a Ford z plan qualified ) and let's them take the truck home and 5 days later tells them you need to bring the truck back because the finance company won't approve you. More
Service Brought in commercial vehicle on Monday at 3pm for scheduled service and some minor repairs. As of 4pm Tuesday they had not even started the service, and didn't even bother to call me. Service center closes at 6, sat there at 530 waiting for them to put old oil back in so I could use my truck the next day for work. FYI, they knew ahead of time I needed this truck for work. So now I have to take another day off work costing me money because they can't even do a simple oil change in 26 hours period. Worst service experience ever. More

I didn't realize the dealer had acquired the car from Canada for thousands less then if they had acquired the same car in the US. Is it legal? Sure. Is it ethical? No. It isn't like they haven't made enough money off of my family already. More
