Excellent Customer Service I had done my research for a few weeks and knew the exact car, color, features, and year I wanted. I thought I had found the perfect car at another de I had done my research for a few weeks and knew the exact car, color, features, and year I wanted. I thought I had found the perfect car at another dealership! BUT when I arrived they told me their car was $3,000 more than what I had seen online. They asked where I saw the price. I said "on your website" and proceeded to prove it by pulling out my phone and showing them their own website. Already off on the wrong foot. Then I overheard a manager tell my sales person (who was actually a nice guy) they wanted to go home and that he was just flirting with me and to hurry up. Basically I felt like they didn't take me seriously OR appreciate me at all, when I would have bought the car then and there unbeknownst to them. They quoted me some astronomical price and wouldn't divulge details as to why (what the APR was), wanted a large down payment, etc etc. Then they lowered the price a little after negotiating. It still wasn't good enough and I felt like I was being jerked around. Maybe they thought I was just a young silly blonde girl who wasn't going to buy the car anyway, I don't know. This absolute process, which it shouldn't have been, went on for a week and a half of back and forth text and phone correspondence (only because I loved the car and needed to negotiate). I let them squirm as the last day of the month for them to reach quota was rapidly approaching. THEN I found my perfect car again at BRANDON HONDA. I did an online request for information, and was pleasantly treated since go. Lucy called me back ASAP. I said "look" (after everything I had been through the week prior) "this is the price I want, the car I want, etc. not a penny more and I'm not wasting either of our time driving (an hour away and back) for no deal" We discussed all the details and I did my online credit app so I wouldn't have to drive so far. She called me back within 10 minutes, and said "no problem, my manager said come on in." Honestly after what I had been through I was shocked and so pleasingly surprised! (Meanwhile the other dealership called back at the same time saying "oh we worked that price out for you" blah blah) I called my friend and said "hey now I've got two dealerships doing this deal but I don't know I do almost feel loyalty to the first one who was working with me" He said "no they worked you, not worked with you". I thought ohhhhhhhhhh. Ha! So I agreed to meet Lucy and her manager Gus. I took my dad in case I needed any back up. First of all everyone greeting us (a nice, conversational Jamaican man, I did not catch his name) was wonderful and so helpful when we walked in the door. We test drove the car. Lucy brought herself to a friendly level BUT kept it professional the entire time! (while the other dealership was like a frat house). Honestly I did still like the features of the other car at the other dealership better, but when it came down to it the quality of service was unsurpassed at Brandon Honda, and that was my decision based conclusion. I could have negotiated an even better price with the other guys I'm sure but did I want to pull more teeth and have more headaches? No. At Brandon Honda it was so smooth, I didn't feel like I was pulling teeth just to get what I as the customer wanted. The depth of knowledge on the car, the RESPECT we received, treating us special, free waters (my dad wasn't feeling well and was very exhausted and it was greatly appreciated), Lucy getting me a coffee after a week and a long night of heavy decision making was greatly appreciated (meanwhile the other dealership was still blowing up my phone throughout my whole buying experience while at Brandon Honda), giving me a little key chain on our way out as a gift, taking my photo, helping with the financing, Gus the manager coming out and saying he appreciates our business and giving us a farewell, the constant communication and follow up throughout the whole process from the entire staff, etc. etc. etc. I can not say enough. Lucy, Gus, and Rob were each respectful, happy, willing, customer service oriented people. I literally cried at one point and ended up giving hugs at the end. It's not just about buying a car, it's who you are and where your life's going, and who you allow to touch your life and help you through the process. Brandon Honda was more than kind and considerate (while those other guys simply missed out). Thank you so much! More
