Brandon Honda Ruined My First Car Buying Experience I have had the most horrible experience with the Brandon Honda dealership. I went in excited because I have wanted a Nissan Maxima for the longest an I have had the most horrible experience with the Brandon Honda dealership. I went in excited because I have wanted a Nissan Maxima for the longest and I finally found one for a great price on Brandon Honda's website. I took the car for a test drive and fell in love. I met with Denise in the finance department and went over all the paperwork. I've never purchased a vehicle before and I do not have much credit so I was nervous. Denise told me everything was fine and I was approved and good to go. Before I left her office, I specifically asked if there was any reason the deal would not go through. She told me the only thing she could see is the payments possibly going down and that I was "all set." A week goes by, I hadn't heard anything from the financing company or from Brandon Honda. As I am driving down the street I notice that the drivers seat starts to move so i figure its not a big deal I could just take it in and have them take a look at it. As soon as i walk in the door I am told "Oh, you need a co signer to stay in that vehicle." I asked if anyone planned on calling me and telling me this and no one could give me a straight answer. The way they handled the situation left a bad taste in my mouth so I turned the vehicle in and took my Mazda back. I also took the check for 1000.00 that I gave them as an additional down payment besides the trade in. A month goes by. I wake up one morning to find that they have somehow taken 1000.00 out of my account the day before Thanksgiving. I go into the dealership, not rude or upset, just simply asking for a refund. I am told that they use a third party and a manager called them for me. He said the transaction was reversed and that I would have it in my account the following Monday. Well, it's now the following Wednesday and I still do not have a refund. Every time I call I get switched around to different people and told different stories.
