The maintenance service work is great. The mechanics fix the issues and they are very reliable. They’re ok for the normal maintenance, but I have been disappointed in their timeliness for returning calls. Also, they failed to tell me about the frequency of wheel alignment on AWD vehicles, which led disappointed in their timeliness for returning calls. Also, they failed to tell me about the frequency of wheel alignment on AWD vehicles, which led to having to buy 2 new sets of tires. It seems their standard of customer experience has gone downhill. We took our 2023 Elantra in for it's first oil change. This was the closest dealership at 49 minutes away. Once our vehicle was returned and I arrived home, it smelled of burning and leaked oil all over u This was the closest dealership at 49 minutes away. Once our vehicle was returned and I arrived home, it smelled of burning and leaked oil all over under the hood and the garage. I called and drove the 49 minutes back the same weekend and were told the mechanic did not secure the bolt in place correctly and the seal around the filter was loose and it was fixed and cleaned up. Oil was still pooled under the hood and when asked to clean it so the vehicle was in the same condition as we brought it in, the person got an attitude. Terrible first experience for something so simple. More

I did so, and was told by customer support that the dealership inspected my vehicle and deemed it not a warranty repair (this is a paint issue, so can be subjective) … anyway, the impression I got was that they wanted me to leave the shop and not argue with the assessment they made, but didn’t tell me about because it was not what I wanted to hear. I thought it was deceitful and weak to not explain it to me in person. Was disappointed with my overall service experience there. More
