Recall Incompetence I bought my Madza3 from Bommarito and had it serviced there for a few years. Service was always slow and sub-par, but 9 months ago I brought it in for I bought my Madza3 from Bommarito and had it serviced there for a few years. Service was always slow and sub-par, but 9 months ago I brought it in for an oil change and a required parking brake recall from Mazda. After waiting several hours, I finally left the dealership after my service was supposedly completed. Months later, I received another recall notice from Mazda saying that I need to have the recall completed or Mazda will not be held liable for future damage. I called Bommarito and the service center said it "looks like the recall ticket is still open, so they must not have completed the recall". The invoice reflects the recall, but says it was deleted. Now I am almost a year overdue on the recall, with who knows what kind of further damage on my car because of it. They offered no resolution except to say "we could offer you a rental car if you come in and get it re-done". I will never purchase another car from this dealership or even attempt to have service completed here. More

Very unhappy with customer service in sales department I purchased a 2016 demo in January of 2018. It came with all of the new car warranties and amenities including (I was told) a free navigation update I purchased a 2016 demo in January of 2018. It came with all of the new car warranties and amenities including (I was told) a free navigation update within the first year. When I purchased the car it had a 2013 navigation and Ikea St. Louis doesn't even exist on it. I tried to update but it said I couldn't because the car had been driven for over a year (due to it being a demo model). I tried to get help at the service center, called the Mazda experience line, and talked to the sales department. All of whom told me they could not do anything. I an very unhappy that the sales department wouldn't uphold what they told me when I purchased the car and seemed like it really didn't matter to them. *On a side note: the service department itself is very good. That's how I like to buy cars once I make up my mind. No hidden costs, no high pressure sales, and getting a deal done fast.
