leased a F150 powerboost, has 450 miles on it, went out one morning to start it and all kinds of warning lights came on and wouldn't start, waited 45 minutes for the truck to start gain, talked to Rob Maxe one morning to start it and all kinds of warning lights came on and wouldn't start, waited 45 minutes for the truck to start gain, talked to Rob Maxey and he informed me this was a known issue with FORD, with no fix as of yet... also told me i would get a call from service department to explain what is going on, still have not received the call from them. i guess I'm lucky it was 65 degrees out while i was stranded and not -20! The worst service I have dealt with in years. I was very pleased with the service I received at this dearlership. I had received a notice that it was time for maintenance work but I hadnt made an appointment. A few days kater my engine light start dearlership. I had received a notice that it was time for maintenance work but I hadnt made an appointment. A few days kater my engine light started coming on and the going off. I called and was able to get an appointment. Mr. Art Miller handled everything concerning my car. I found him to be a very pleasant, nice gentleman. To make things ever better was the fact that I did not have to pay a penny. This was my last free oil change maintenance package and the engine work was covered under warranty. And, besides that good news, Mr. Miller had my car delivered to my house. I did not have tp catch a bus or find someone to come and take me to pick up my car. The dealership had to keep my car overnight two nights and said they did not have any loaners available. More
My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased my used vehicle on 6/27/23. On 7/5/23 my check engine light came on. I took my vehicle to the dealership and was told it of a nightmare. I purchased my used vehicle on 6/27/23. On 7/5/23 my check engine light came on. I took my vehicle to the dealership and was told it was a faulty spark plug. Issue resolved right? Wrong!!!! On 7/9/23 the check engine light came on again. I immediately sent a picture/text to my sales rep and was told to bring the vehicle in the next day. The dealership has had my vehicle since. I was notified on 7/18/23 that the vehicle is being sent to their engine technician. The technician will need to tear down the engine to figure out what's wrong. The technician will not be able to assess the engine issues for a couple of weeks. I spoke to the used car manager about my contract and was told there's a "No cool down period" clause in the contract that doesn't allow me to back out. I wouldn't have signed that contract had I known something was wrong with the engine. I didn't have the car in my possession for 2 full weeks before things went terribly wrong. Please keep in mind the vehicle was fully inspected before the purchase was made. I was told the vehicle was “As good as new!” I feel the sales rep and/or service department were aware of the issue before selling the vehicle but chose to proceed without notifying me. I feel like the contract was signed under false pretenses as who in their right mind would knowingly enter into a contract for a vehicle that’s not in good condition. I wish I’d done my research on the dealership before doing business with them. I just want out of this contract and will NEVER do business with Bob Maxey Ford again!!! More
I would highly recommend Bob Maxey to anyone and everyone! I had purchased all other vehicles from another Ford dealer in the past, due to the location being a few miles closer. I was looking for a specific vehicle and did not want to settle for anything else, or anything close. Bob Maxey understood what I wanted and got me exactly what I wanted without any up sell games, bait and switch,etc. With the help of salesperson Gabe Peterson, I was driving my new Ford Escape ST-Line Select hybrid home within 48 hours of speaking with Gabe! Rob Maxey himself was also great! He actually sat in my new vehicle with me and helped me with syncing my phone. I can not be any more pleased and impressed with the entire experience! More
