It was time for a new car and we start what we thought would be a long drawnout process of looking, comparing, pricing and yes dealing. We drove on the lot just to look of course, then we were approached by a sale repersentive George Welcome with Bob King Kia in Winston Salem. So my first thought was ok here we go with the sales pitch. Well! Our experience was far from what we had ever experienced with any dealership. This is just what we experienced and greatly appreciated during our visit at BOB KING KIA with GEORGE WELCOME and Staff. 1) Very informed and knowledgeable of the 2013 Kia Optima EX & SX. We went with the EX 2) The test drive was relaxed and took time to stop and show us the details of the features out side the car. 3) After committing to the possible purchase or lease of the car we were asked to drive it over night so they could evaluate our Ford Explorer for tradein value. ( this real gave us the time to ensure that this was the car for us or did we want to go with another SUV) 4) On return of the next day we were nicely suprised at the tradein value of the Explorer and move on with the purchasing process 5) We were given a break down of the pricing, tradein and all the other little fees and taxes and then we pretty much said to GEORGE Welcome this is where we need to be with our payment. George went back with the number and then said we would be able to get very close to our buget. Now this is were I thought we would have to say No can't do that with the Finance team. OK I was wrong again 6) This team was able to get us with in 9 dollars of our buget. WOW! we really couldn't say anything but OK! 7) GEORGE Welcome was the key to this purchase, he was professional, friendly, kind, considerate and just funny alot of the times during this process. 8) GEORGE took the time after the sale to continue to help with cleaning out the Explorer that we traded in 9) GEORGE took the time to sit in the car and go over ever detail of the car and synced our phones, set our perferred Radio station and made sure we had a full tank of gas. Also gave us a follow up phone call the next day to see if we had any questions or concerns about the car. 10)GEORGE gave us a tour of the Dealership and Service Department. He also reminded me of the Best times to come in for my oil changes would be 9am and 4pm, this is when the FRESH baked cookies would be out in the Service Center waiting area. So 9 and 4 you can find me at the Kia Service center on Oil Changing days. LOL! OK! It looks like i have given you 10 great reasons why my Experience at BOB KING KIA with GEORGE WELCOME was just one of the most UN-Stressful Experiences. I look forward to our Future Car Experiences with these guys, Oh! and the COOKIES at 9 & 4. :) Thank you GEORGE fo the Car Buying Experience that was easy and fun. This was my first car that I have ever bought myself and Jason was very informative and friendly. He even came into work on his day off just so I could pick up my car the next day instead of waiting two to Jason was very informative and friendly. Jason emailed me several days prior to my visit, which I appreciated. He greeted us when we arrived at our appointment and showed us several options that we were looking for. From the first moment I got out of my car, the people that greeted me made me feel welcomed and important. The process was far more pleasant than other experiences I have had; another dealer made me fee that greeted me made me feel welcomed and important. On arriving at the dealership we were made to feel welcomed and appreciated. Jason Brewer whom we had spoke with by phone met us immediately. He was friendly and informative. I was looking for a Rio to start with and went on their website Thursday to check out cars & then scheduled a test drive. I got a call from Cassie about half an hour later to talk about what I was looking for and she assigned me to Jared. The next day I got a call from Jared touching base about the test drive and confirming what I was looking for. I had gone back to the website in the meantime and looked at other cars and found a gorgeous Kia Spectra in their Value Cars section. I love bright colors so the Electric Orange Spectra caught my eye. I did my finance application on the website on Friday night and got a call from Jared again on Saturday morning. I ended up going over on Saturday afternoon and coming home with my "new" Spectra! Jared was tied up with another customer when I got there & passed me on to George. Even though the visit took longer than I expected, it was still a great experience. They also have wonderful cookies in the Service Department! Everyone there was so nice and my dad even got a nice new Kia hat. More
I just bought my Kia Optima LX yesterday (4-30-2013) so I could not honestly rate the service part of the survey. Judging from observations I made in visits to the dealership and the experience I had in purchasing my vehicle I assume that the service and quality of work are held to high standards and would expect it to be so. Damion Galloway is an excellent representative of the dealership...helpful and knowledgeable. I think his low key approach to sales is a very good one. He keeps his clients relaxed and is very amiable and efficient. I never felt pressured or annoyed in anyway and I cannot say that about many sales reps. I have encountered. Actually, I felt as though I was in my home talking to a friend. The bang for the buck in the triad area is as good as anyone can reasonably expect. I, for one, was very satisfied with the price I paid for my Optima. The price was great, the overall experience was excellent and I am happy to have done business with Bob King Kia.
