New service management and systems very disappointing I have two Fiats and had been bringing my cars only to Bob Baker since 2012. There were recent changes in the service staff and I believe in management. The sincerity that once existed is gone. Recently I brought my 500L for brakes and a problem with my starter. The young man in service was nice enough. I knew I needed brakes and probably rotors. I described an issue when I turned my key to start that either the battery or the starter might be going bad. For the first time, I was charged $149 to "diagnose" the starting problem and was told it would work into the repair. Later that day, I was told the diagnosis found nothing wrong and the battery showed the charge was fine. I was told "well there is a pause right after you turn the key over before it gets a charge to start"....Um, yes, I know my car, I've driven it every day for 3 years. Then, I got a WHOLE LIST of other "issues" they recommend I replace (rear windshield wiper $75.00, which I never use, etc.), but that would've thrown my bill to over $1000.00. I couldn't get to my car that day and told the guy I would pick it up the next day. In the morning, I received a call that my battery was, in fact, not charging and needed to be replaced. So what happened to the diagnosis worth $149??? When I picked up the car, I was still charged the diagnosis fee (reduced to $115) and almost $150 for a new battery. I argued, why would I pay a diagnosis fee when it was incorrect yesterday and only because I left the car overnight did they discover, as I had already told them, there was an issue with the car starting. Paying for a "mis-diagnosis" seemed very unprofessional to me!. My bill is now over $850 and after my car is there for two days, they don't even bother to wash it (which is what the prior service team provided). I've never felt like I was being "Nickel-ed and Dime-ed" before, but this new service department is horrible. I won't be bringing my car back to them and will be sure to let all my clients and colleagues know how poorly I was treated. I always considered Fiat a higher end auto manufacturer and am surprised that this dealership/service location is acting like the place that will try to bleed you for every penny possible. I'm a stockholder in Fiat and am furious. Expect some phone calls to be made. More

Unhappy. Called Service department NUMEROUS times for 3 days without an answer. Left NUMEROUS messages that weren’t returned. At the appointment was told 15 minutes for a shuttle. Shuttle came in 90 minutes. Just got home and was called and they didn’t have the part. Had to pick it up. I lost an entires days work.
