I was uncertain as to whether I should buy or lease, and was very hesitant to even visit the dealership. Sure enough Sam in Sales and Paul in finance set me right as ease. They spoke honestly about my options and helped me to find the best deal available. They were friendly and really made the process, which was really rather quick and easy, an enjoyable one. I ended up purchasing a Subaru and it will be my third (my first two as mentioned previously were leases). I have always been satisifed with the Subaru product and can safely say that I have been more than satisified with Subaru service. More
When my husband and I went to the Subaru dealership, we were looking at cars for him. I had a 2008 Honda Pilot and planned on staying with Honda (that was the next dealership we were going to visit). By 4:30 that same day, I was driving off in a brand new Subaru Outback and we'll be returning when the model my husband is looking for comes in. Howard was knowledgeable, not pushy, thorough and extremely caring throughout the whole process. His enthusiasm about his product is contagious ... so contagious that I'm totally infected now that I own a Subaru myself! He followed up on any of our concerns and had us in our new car within about 4 hours (with extra accessories installed). Obviously, we're returning to Howard and Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru soon ... in fact, in 2 weeks if all goes according to plan. More
Subaru...I am hooked!! My initial experience with this dealership was on the phone with Howard. I was calling in response to an add I saw in the paper. I was a bit hesitant about the credibility of the add in that most cases, numbers may change during the actual process of purchasing. But howard reassured me that they stay true to their words and even convinced me to come in. I came, test drove a car and the next thing I know...I've leased a gorgeous SUBARU FORESTER 2014! I loved the accommodating, at home atmosphere that this dealership presents. During all meeting times, Howard always offered my mother and I coffee or water and spoke with great demeanor. Add a little sense of humor to it, and I knew was set. Before I ecstatically drove my new forester off the lot, Howard - being aware of the fact that I'm a newly licensed driver and that it's my first car- he made sure I knew how the car operated inside and out. He was very thorough and patient in teaching me all the different button functions, dashboard symbols and lights, radio, etc. He even explained the purpose of each key...know I know what a "valet "key is for lol. He also helped me set up and use the blue tooth feature where I can connect my phone to the car as well as taught me how to set up my contacts with voice command. Basically, Howard I think went the extra mile to make sure this satisfied customer did not only drive off safe but drive off fully knowledgeable on how this exceptional vehicle operates. Thank you so much for my FIRST, BRAND NEW CAR!! I'm hooked and look forward to leasing another subaru when my term is up!! More
After having a horrible experience at Mid-Hudson Subaru, it was such a relief to be treated wonderfully. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by Howard with a hugh smile. He answered each question with knowledge and truthfulness. Then he took me outside and showed me the car that I have been waiting for since July 21st. I had ordered it at another dealership, only to be told there would be a two month wait and none were available anywhere in the entire country. Howard renewed my faith in Subaru by being a wonderful salesman, who is truthful and a very nice man. The next day I walked in with my dad and my license plates and two hours later I drove my brand new 2014 Forrester. Even my dad liked Howard and he doesn't like sales people. If you are looking for a Subaru, I highly recommend this location and Howard as your salesman. I can't wait to go back for my oil changes and any other services I might need. The place is beautiful and very clean, even the bathrooms! Thank you, Howard! More
I just bought a new Impreza (finally!) after taking almost 2 years to take the plunge. Sam had originally talked with me about Subarus and helped me narrow my choice to which model I would like. When I finally decided to actually buy a car I worked with Stuart. Both men were true gentlemen, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and important for me, NOT pushy. I had the best Car purchasing Experience ever from the time I came in to the time I left. I was treated with respect, the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Howard took his time explaining the features of the car, took me for a test drive and even after the sale he wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with the car. He helped me to pair up my I-Phone to the bluetooth system. Paul over in financing was very knowleagable and was able to help me with my financial needs. The people at the desk facing the waiting area were also very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. In fact, I have told everyone I know about the Great Experience I had. More

I keep coming back because Subaru continually gets high ratings in the areas that important to me such as safety, handling and resale value. It is for these reasons that I keep going back even though there are numerous issues with dealership that I find unacceptable. Any time I have had to go for service, I have been disappointed. Several years ago, I was quoted an estimate for service and the final cost was more than twice the estimate. Since then, I have only gone back for recall issues and every time, the wait is too long, the waiting room is too crowded with the TV blasting and people on their cell phones. I have also not found that the dealership particularly sensitive to regular customers. I have bought 7 cars here through the years and always felt like am treated like a window shopper by the dealership. When I complained about the service estimate, for example, my complaints were not addressed until after I wrote to Subaru headquarters. I have found the desk staff rather rude and inappropriate in the comments made within earshot of customers. If Subuaru wasn't such a good car, I really would go elsewhere. More

Unlike the Kia dealership in West Nyack, NY that I spent 45 minutes in and never received a straight answer or price from. I am a previous owner of the Legacy and I must commend Bill Kobb’s dealership for its customer service. Bob Moore was straight and to the point on any and all questions that I had. My new car was ready clean and all the gadgets were explained in detail to me. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that was going to purchase a new car. More
