THE GIFT BEFORE CHRISTMAS THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MY SON DECIDES LET GET MO ACAR WITH A BIG RIBBON ON IT; JUST LIKE ON TV. WE CALLED GARY MENDELSOHN AT BILL KOLB JR SUBARU. THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MY SON DECIDES LET GET MO ACAR WITH A BIG RIBBON ON IT; JUST LIKE ON TV. WE CALLED GARY MENDELSOHN AT BILL KOLB JR SUBARU. HE SAID "I HAVE FIVE CARS COMING OFF THE TRUCK RIGHY NOW." SATURDAY MORNING WE RUSH OVER AND WERE TREATED LIKE WE WERE ONE OF THE FAMILY. GARY MADE THE ENTIRE PROCESS SO EASY WITHIN TWOS LATER WE WALKED OUT WITH A 2015 SUBARU IMPREZZA SPORT.. CAME BACK THE FOLOWING MONDAY TO PICK IT UP AND I WAS SHOCKE. GARY SPENT ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF ON DELIVERY. HE METHODICALLY EXPLAINED EVERY PIECE OF PAPER I HAD TO SIGN, AND THEN SAT IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR AND EXPLAINED EVERY FEATURE THAT CAME WITH THE CAR. FINALLY, HE SAID AFER CHRISTMAS IF YOUR WIFE WANT A TUTORIAL ON THE CAR AND IT FEATURES BRING ER BY AND WE'LL DO THE SAME FOR HER. HIS FINAL WORDS WERE, "REMEMBER, I COME WITH THE CAR. IF YOU EVER HAVE A QUESTION PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL. WE'RE HERE FOR YOU" I HAVE TO SAY GARY & BOB'S LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, ENTHUSIAM, COURTESY AND RESPECT FAR EXCEEDS ANY OTHER SALESMAN AND DEALERSHIP THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. worst car buying experience ever !!!!! Lets face it a business is only as good as the individuals you deal with. This is who i dealt with and the experience i had. Ross K in sales. Does not return phone calls and does not listed to voice mails or what the customer is saying. Nice guy but mediocre at best. Sent me home with keys for my vehicle that do not work. I now have to go back to a dealer to have key programmed. Marty S in finance. Does not call back customers and probably does not listen to voice mails. He has limited knowledge of products that Subaru sells for their cars. He sold me a blue tooth connect device for $700 and thought is was a blue tooth stereo system. I had to go back to the dealer and wait 2 hours to have it removed from my vehicle and receive a reimbursement. Total inconvenience to me because i live over an hour away from the dealership. Waited over 2 hours for service to get their act together and remove the device. Service department. Does not return phone calls and they over schedule appointments so customer wait 2 hours or longer for a simple service appointment. The service tech damaged my vehicle so i now have to go to a body shop for cosmetic repairs of a scratch and a dent. Yes indeed cannot make this stuff up. Actually damaged my car. Mary Ann Kolb. Nice guy and worked with me to rectify multiple mistakes. Too bad he had to hear my complaints because the owner could care less. I was compensated $120 for my time and inconvenience and it did not even come close to compensating me for the amount of my personal time invested to go back to dealership and have them iron out their mistakes. Hours of personal time invested and i now still have to have a key programmed and and minor body work done. I will now have more hours of time to personally invest because of BK cars mistakes. Summary. I purchased a used 2012 Subaru legacy sedan for 23k. The interior was never detailed nor was a full tank of gas provided as promised by sales. Wrong equipment was installed and service damaged my vehicle. If all you care about is price then shop around. BK cars has reasonable deals but so does every dealership. If you care about customer service and consumer satisfaction with the overall performance of a car dealership then run for the hills. BK cars failed miserably and the owner could care less. When a owner advises a customer that they will call you back and never does it sends a real negative message to the consumer. I currently own a honda, toyota and ford f250 and this car buying experience is the worst i have ever had Never Again!! More

They sent a car (Larry the driver was very pleasant) from Orangeburg to Stamford to pick me up which was great. I did try Stamford Subaru but got no attention so went to Kolb. It was well worth the effort. Howard was great and spent time showing me how the Forester works (I've never bought a used car before where they did anything other than give me the keys). I highly recommend them. More

Both times we worked with Howard Bonfield and had g We purchased two Subaru cars from Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru this year (2013 Forester and 2015 Legacy). Both times we worked with Howard Bonfield and had great experiences with both purchases. Howard was very informative, thorough and made the entire process pain-free. He was extremely organized, pleasant and not at all pushy. In fact, he was very patient with us. He took care of all the insurance and DMV paperwork as well. Howard spent a great deal of time showing me all the safety, audio and navigation features of the Legacy. I really appreciated how much time he spent with us -- even after closing hours. We both highly recommend purchasing a car from Howard at Bill Kolb Jr Subaru. By the way, the 2015 Legacy is now the Gold Standard for Subaru! We are sure many other car companies are going to copy their great safety features in their models. Subaru definitely cares about their customers!! (By the way, previously we owed an Impreza, a 2009 Legacy and a 2005 Outback). More
