I had a positive sales experience purchasing a used 2016 Nissan Frontier but the after sales service has been non-existent. Was told repeatedly to contact them with any issues I might have. Five days afte Nissan Frontier but the after sales service has been non-existent. Was told repeatedly to contact them with any issues I might have. Five days after purchase, I noticed intermittent serpentine belt chirp/noise. Notified my salesperson who instructed me to call the Westbrook Used Car Service Manger. I left two voicemails simply asking if this is something that they would look at. Never received a call back. I fully understand it is a used vehicle but a return phone call would have been appreciated on a $27,000 purchase... even if it was a simple "nope, you are on your own with that". On an unrelated note, during my first car wash, it became apparent the front bumper has been poorly repainted as well. Again, it is a used car and the Carfax was clean but I have a hard time believing they were unaware of this fact when they sold it to me. I settled on 3 stars as there are far more important things in life but I would hesitate to recommend this dealer to any friends or family based on my post-sale experience. More
Really disappointing GM service experience. Transmission problems in less than 1 year after purchase of a low mileage certified pre owned vehicle from the Bill Dodge lot across the street. GM Service under warranty turned into a 4 month (!!) ordeal. On the first visit they replaced parts. Another GM dealership later referred to this as the Band-aid approach. Refused to give me a loaner. They had my car for a month. 7weeks later the transmission drops. I call from the side of the road and Bill Dodge GM refuses to arrange or pay for towing to get it back to Westbrook. $325.00 out of pocket to get it there. Request for a loaner denied again. Three weeks later, lip service phone support and zero progress. I had to show up in person and make a stink before finally being offered a loaner. Took another 6 weeks to replace the transmission. Happy to have my car back but dreading future service. More
