Worse customer service experience...EVER I wrote an extensive review on yelp on 4/11/16 about a negative service experience. I had my car in shop over 2 week due to recall issue. My EZ-tag wa I wrote an extensive review on yelp on 4/11/16 about a negative service experience. I had my car in shop over 2 week due to recall issue. My EZ-tag was on my car and the service rep told me any cost will be mine as I used the loaner. It was a customer that gave me useful information letting me know that I could go online and transfer my account for the short time to the loaner. I was grateful to him and annoyed at the rep who seem content enough to let me know I would have to pay up. Had to get things out of the car including my roadside survival bin with tools, jumper cables etc. I'm a lone woman that travels out of town for work and I don't feel safe without. I have to transfer this large bin from one car in skirt and heels without any help or suggestion of assistance from the two young men holding a conversation and waiting for me to finish. So today, I get the car back. He hands me my keys. I ask questions relating to possible problems to note. He tells me to let me know if there are any problems. I shake his hand and assure him I will. I drive off, now late for my appointment. I get to my destination, park turn around to lock the door with the remote as I walk away and stop. WHAT! What is that?!? My whole front bumper of the passenger side of my car is mashed in. My car has been wrecked. Forget the appointment. I immediately call the dealership to get transferred to voicemail. I check my GPS, I can get there just before they close if I leave now. I leave and get there as the service rep is leaving. I tell him what happens and ask him to come out and see. "This is NOT how I brought my car in. How does a car end up wrecked sitting in a dealership for 2 weeks?!?" "Well ma'am my manager is not here, he has left already." "I know that. I called. " After inspecting the damage he goes and gets a camera to take pictures. I mention getting a lawyer involved. "Well, if you do that there is nothing we can do. It will be handed over to our legal department." "So, you are telling me the dealership doesn't have a general manager on site that I can talk to?" " Well, if you go up front they will get him for you" So, that's what I do. Give my concerns to the clerk(who was quite nice and helpful) and she handed off to the manager. The young man follows me outside on the phone the whole time. When he gets out an looks at the car and I tell him the story, he asks: "So, you didn't do a walk around of your car before you left?" "No. I never had to do that. I will from now on. He did a walk around of the loaner, he did not do a walk around of my car." "Well that's strange, they should..." "Well, he didn't. He gave me my keys and paperwork that's it." "Well, when I have my car in service for a week, I..." My head hurts and I'm truly upset now. "Let's cut to the chase. Are you saying I'm responsible because I DIDN'T insist on a walk around of my car?!? Do you think I'm making this up" "No, no ma'am. I will talk to the service manager first thing in the morning. "Fine, do what you have to do and I will do what I must. I need a copy of the note with your signature, time and date please." He complies, makes a copy and hands it to me. I note he only hands me one. I need the copy of the notes relating my complaint. He hands it to me then. I should have stuck with Philpott Hyundai in Nederland. It would have been worth the drive for the proven customer service and fair deals. *headdesk…repeatly* More

STAY AWAY!!!! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!!!! THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND THEN TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE A LIAR AND REFUSE TO FIX IT! Had an appointment AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!!!! THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND THEN TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE A LIAR AND REFUSE TO FIX IT! Had an appointment for them to complete a recall on my Santa Fe...should have taken 2.5 hours, after 4 hours, I asked what the hold up was and they said the recall was done, but they were waiting on them to clean my car. They said I could take it and just bring it back to have it cleaned so I did. Took care of what I needed to and then took my car to my regular mechanic to have the oil changed. He took one look at it and told me to take it back to the dealership because there was a very bad coolant leak. When I did, the service rep, Brian Hemphill, admitted that they mechanic working on my recall noted that he disconnected the radiator hoses to complete the recall and when he reconnected them, there was a leak. Now, they failed to tell me that...and claimed that they just exposed and existing issue. They could not have caused the problem but would charge me over $400 to fix it. I told them to wash it because they owed me that and I would take it to my mechanic since I trusted him and no longer trusted them. I called Hyundai USA and filed a complaint. According to them, the service manager himself said he would speak to me directly to resolve my complaint. No one has ever called me. So the recall was to replace the alternator, which means they should have replaced the serpantine belt also. Well, it started to break last night, and I took my car to my mechanic. He called me today and said that Hyundai should fix it under warranty if they replaced my alternator. I called Ron Carter and was basically told I was a liar and that they weren't responsible. Now I am out $310 because of damage caused by Ron Carter Hyundai, and as if that's not bad enoughm Hyundai USA is standing behind Ron Carter's behavior. More

I called Ron Carter Hyundai, got an appt, a beautiful loaner vehicle, Adrian Chapa in service was great! He kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. I have my car back, had a great car at my disposal, and received excellent service from all parties involved!?? and I didn't even purchase from that dealership! Simply Awesome! And all at no charge to me!!!! How bout that!!!?? More
