They performed a recall incorrectly on my Fusion, but I didn't notice it till after two years later. Now they won't do anything to fix it and Ford won't do anything either. So if you have work done here More

Dear sir, it has been 3 years since we worked on your vehicle. You now live in the Dallas area and just now are claiming it is fixed incorrectly. Excuse us, but we have no idea of what repairs may have been performed in the last 3 years. You have called us numerous times and we have even escalated this to Ford corporate. This late in the game and with the distance, it is impossible to do any good will. If you are in our area, please call Phil Chandler, our service Director, or email myself and we will look at it. I should not be expected to inspect your work after you've completed it. The issue is that the rear door latch was replaced under recall and now there's no child lock on it. I didn't start having kids in my car until after I had already moved away (not to Dallas) so I had no need to use it until relatively recently. I raised the issue only a few months after the 2-year warranty period as soon as I noticed the issue...not three years as you claim. I get that you can't guarantee there weren't some other repairs done to the vehicle and I don't live in Houston any more, but then why not offer to let me take it to a local dealer where I'm currently located to have them just check it for me? Or offer some other kind of solution? That would have been some possible "good will" you could have shown me. So please stop with the condescending tone and incorrect facts. Also, please tell Greg Schultz to watch his language with customers; it was not appreciated. Also, if you guys didn't do anything wrong, then why has the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued another recall concerning the door latches and part of that recall is to ensure the child locks are present? Clearly its been a common issue and Big Star has been part of it.

Mr. Brown, Your vehicle has 212 THOUSAND miles and has been here exactly one time where it was connected to a diagnostic machine that does not have any connection to the problems or repairs you are mentioning in your very unfair review. We noted and showed you yesterday all the parts that had been replaced by other repair shops. A vehicle with that kind of high mileage is entering a zone where any type of repair can happen at any moment. On a diagnosis, we do not go under the dash or attach our diagnostic machine to wires in any way. Your innuendo could not be more false. Also, your quote about an employee saying this happens all the time on stuff being delivered not complete is taken out of context. We said that when a human error occurs we make it right. I would suggest returning to the repair shop where you had extensive work performed. They are the ones your frustrations should be pointed.
