I was interested in purchasing a pre-owned XT5. My salesman was Charles Jackson. After our initial conversation, Charles sent me a quote in which he added almost $4000 for a Premium Care Package, whi salesman was Charles Jackson. After our initial conversation, Charles sent me a quote in which he added almost $4000 for a Premium Care Package, which I did not ask for. After informing him of this, I asked for the carfax, when I noticed the vehicle had been in an accident. But, he was not willing to lower his price 1 penny. I even found an identical vehicle at another dealership $2500 less and had more options. Mr. Jacskon would not budge off his price. I received a text from Mr. Jackson that read "We have been back and forth on this price. It is firm and we will not reduce the price. Either come and get the car or quit texting me" Very rude in my opinion and condescending. Mr. Jackson had NO regards to my well-being if I purchased the vehicle in the sense that I would have to deal with that recorded accident years down the road if I wanted to trade the vehicle in. Mr. Jackson further added that he would block my number and to never call him again. I showed his text to a salesman and his sales manager at another dealership. I was told that he should be fired for such a rude message, and as a result they felt sorry for me. Dropped the purchase price of the car I was looking at another $1500. STAY AWAY from Charles Jackson at Ron Carter! More
