The communication was very poor it took almost forty days before I was notified whether the problem was going to be covered by warranty, then when the work was scheduled I brought the truck in the day before before I was notified whether the problem was going to be covered by warranty, then when the work was scheduled I brought the truck in the day before so they could start right away, I was told it would take one day near the end of the day I called several times and didn't get an answer then they said it would not be ready before the next day so my ride left right after that they called to let me know that they had finished it but I didn't have a ride they did get me an Uber so I could pick up my truck More

I'm rounding up to 2 stars because the work appears to have been done properly, but I'll never go back. I'm a small business owner and my truck is my office. I had the "death wobble" problem with my F250 and it was almost undrivable on the highway. Best Ford stated that they only do these repairs on weekdays and they needed my truck for the day to do the .4 hour steering dampener swap. I understood and accepted the lost income. I leave my truck on a Monday night with a Tues AM appt. I haven't heard from anyone all day and finally call at 5 PM to check in. They can't find the service writer and take a message. He calls me back 15 mins later stating they just pulled it in to look at it because of X excuses and could I leave it overnight. I told him I needed my truck first thing in the morning because I had scheduled work. He claims he understood and it would be a quick repair. He calls at 9:30 AM, which I assumed he was telling me it was done and I was OK with it. Nope, he was trying to sell me tires etc. I declined because I needed my truck back and he said that it was all set and would call me back once they pulled it out. 2 hours later I still haven't heard and it takes several phone calls to finally get a call back from the writer letting me know my truck is actually ready. I lost a day and half pay for something I realized that I could've done myself for under $100 in the parking lot with the basic hand tools, which I always carry. I'm incredibly understanding and would gladly have taken my truck home for the day if they called to tell me they were that behind schedule. I could've moved my schedule around to accommodate and not have lost that income. Simple communication would've kept me as a customer. More
