There were no tricks, hidden fees (well, there's the documentation fee, but they all have that), or unnecessary add-ons. I've bought a few new cars in the past and I think this is the rare case of the honest & honorable car dealership. I highly recommend buying a car here. More

I am actually very surprised to see such low ratings for this dealer. I leased a new Ford Edge from this dealer in April 2012, and it was probably the best car buying experience I've ever had. Their prici this dealer. I leased a new Ford Edge from this dealer in April 2012, and it was probably the best car buying experience I've ever had. Their pricing was untouchable by any other local dealer, and there are many other Ford dealers in the area that I got pricing from. Nick was not pushy at all, and worked to get me a little more for my trade. Recently I was there for an oil change, and Nick recognized me and greeted me by name. I would most certainly buy another car from this dealer. More
I came to the dealership with proof of financing; it was a Sunday and my bank was closed. I offered a deposit to hold 2 vehicles that interested me until such time I could talk to my bank to structure what a Sunday and my bank was closed. I offered a deposit to hold 2 vehicles that interested me until such time I could talk to my bank to structure what would be affordable. In my mind, I had not yet committed to price, but in signing for the deposit, apparently I did! I only offered the deposit because my bank was closed and I deemed it the honorable thing to do. Lisa Kelly told me BEST works with my bank "...all the time..." and could take care of me that day! Though I was perplexed, I figured the nature of the car business allowed that availability. What I wasn't told, was BESTs relationship with with my bank was for a different loan program that required a credit check and whose result deviated from the loan I originally procured (and came into the dealership with) causing me to lose 2 cost-saving benefits: affordable GAP insurance and a 1/4% additional deduction from the loan payment for automatic withdrawal. I later learned BEST contacted numerous other banks in an attempt to procure any loan for me that Sunday. Lisa also told me, the Business Manager, Caleb Wilson, would talk to more on price when in actuality his role is only on loan structure, not price at all! Additionally, when I asked Caleb about the purpose of the credit check, his exact words were "...to prove you are who you say you are." I asked him "doesn't a driver's license to that?" The experience went on for several days. On the second day, I told Caleb I was not going to buy the second car. They still have not given me back my deposit. And even though I was called and told the financing documents were all set and to come in after work to close .... I arrived and they were not. On the third day, Lisa told me she and Caleb had both talked to Mary Grace at my bank and finally had everything they needed. When I spoke with Mary Grace at my bank, she said no one from Best had called her! On the fourth day, I was more than angry (financially violated actually), and Lisa threatened me by saying if I didn't come pick the car up that night she would put it back on the lot! And one more thing, the vehicle was a car to help our family, and my daughter was going to be the primary driver. Lisa told my daughter, who was excited about the car, she would fill it up with gas. My daughter got home (3 miles away) to tell me the tank was only a quarter full. More
Hello all, I purchased a used one owner 2001 nissan Hello all, I purchased a used one owner 2001 nissan sentra with 60k on a Saturday afternoon. Following Monday on my way home from work the car die Hello all, I purchased a used one owner 2001 nissan sentra with 60k on a Saturday afternoon. Following Monday on my way home from work the car died (150miles since saturday). It died in The milford city center, I called up Best ford to say I wanted a refund because this car cut out while driving down the road, losing brakes and power steering. Bill Haas told me when I bought the car it would come with a 3 day money back guaranty, they claimed not. They wouldn't even come tow me from Milford to their dealership. Luckily the car started up again but then died as I was pulling up the the light for the dealership. I had to fred flinstone the car to the dealership, not even joking. I had to leave the dealership around 5 but the Funny thing is their ford tech thought it might be the crankshaft sensor. Coincidentally after I got home that night and researched, the 2001 nissan sentra has had many recalls on the crankshaft sensor/components and i've found consumer safety complaints about the car cutting out even after the recall/replaced parts. I was at the dealer bright and early today (Tuesday) and the gm's discussed my situation and told me they would refund the purchase price only and not the dealer fee of 500$ (this was on the advertisement sign so I could not argue. They made a "exception" for me which wasn't really because I was shown and told I would have a 3 day money back guaranty. Don't believe their best ford warranty signs because its a scam and they are misleading. It says on the sign "every used best car comes with a 3 day money back guaranty" it doesn't say certified on it, so that sign itself can be taken for all used cars and not just certified ones. So basically I was sold a turd from a would be reputable dealership and was charged 500$ for driving 150 miles and wasting my own person time dealing with these guys. I am very lucky I took the car to work Monday and took the long way home (country roads) because me or someone could have been seriously injured if not killed if I was driving down the highway and my car cut out at 65mph with no brakes or steering (especially having to stop quickly). This was 35 minutes into my commute home which would have normally been on the highway!!!! I am a United States Air Force Veteran and what you have read is the HONEST TRUTH and I hope no one is treated like this. I feel blessed i'm alive to write this but the Moral of the story is, if you buy a used car from best ford that is claimed to be inspected and "safe" to drive and you crash and die in 3 days/150 miles, they might refund your money back and if they do you'll still have to pay the 500$ dealer fee!!! Veteran buyers and local buyers beware this place cannot be trusted!!!! They make their money by scamming people out of their hard earned money. I have never went out of my way to write a review like this and I hope this saves someone else's time and money!!!!!!! -Ben More

When it came down to the negotiations, I was baffled how easy it was. They gave me a great deal on the used car, and they gave me more for my trade than I expected. Bill the sales manager was pleasant to deal with. I even got a hand shake from Mike the GM thanking me for my business.I went into the finance office e and met with Caleb. He was very friendly and got me a better rate than my credit union. I was totally shocked. All in all, this is the best car buying experience I have ever had. From the time I walked in to the time I left I was smiling. I will be back for service and my next car. More
Just a really bad experience. Wasted 4 hours, first trying to get a saleman's attention, then waiting to get a trade-in value (which was grossly low-balled relative to Nada clean trade-in). Old school trying to get a saleman's attention, then waiting to get a trade-in value (which was grossly low-balled relative to Nada clean trade-in). Old school sales method, saleman shuttling offer and counter-offers from the sales manager. Stay away from these guys, unless you like wasting your time. More

My wife walked in, the receptionist said hello and asked what was needed, my wife told her and the receptionist said she would find someone to help, a salesman walked by and the receptionist had to call after him 3 times to get his attention. The receptionist told him what car and trim level was being requested. He walked away did a few things, and eventually came to back and asked my wife what we would like to drive. She reminded him, he disappeared. He didn't say what he was doing, he just disappeared. He came back and said the only one was buried right now. In their defense, we stopped the night before a snow storm and they were preparing the lot for the storm. A few days later, I called to schedule a test drive, I spoke to someone at around 10AM, told her what we were looking for and she was very professional. We arrived at 6PM to test drive the car. The salesman broke away from what he was working on, asked us to wait for him while he finished up with someone. I have no problem waiting, I understand people are busy, but waiting a half hour is stretching my patience. When he came back, he asked what we were looking for tonight and what we wanted to drive. Now, when I call to schedule a test drive, I expect the car to be pulled up, warming up, and someone to know what is happening. I will say that the salesman that we spoke to was a very nice man and patient. I checked dealerrater before going and I saw what people were saying. I didn't tell my wife so she would not have a a preconceived notion. Best Ford lives up to their current rating of 2. More
