Their Sprinter van service is less than stellar. They do not offer service while you wait, even for a 1 h job. As I live 1 h away, this results in 2 hours of travel to deliver the van for service, and 2 more hours to pick it up. No loaners provided, so I have to take the bus. The van is a 2021 model purchased new. It now has 40,000 miles. We have had issues with the software controlling crosswind assist and adaptive cruise. It took 3 visits to fix the problem, which was solved by a software upgrade. Was the software update available during the first 2 visits? Next problem was the phone interface. Android Auto seemed to work fine, but phone calls only worked correctly 10% of the time. 2 separate trips to try to solve that issue. My Android phone worked fine on several rental cars indicating there was nothing wrong with my phone. At the 2nd visit the Service Advisor tested the system with my Android phone and repeated the problem. He then tried it with his Apple phone and it seemed to work fine, so he concluded there was nothing wrong with the system and said there was nothing they could do, and I should buy a new phone. We used my wife's Apple phone for the next long trip and found that Appleworks crashed the infotainment system a couple times a day. So back to the dealer for a 3rd visit upon our return. They discovered a software update that seems to have fixed the problem with both phones. Was the software update available earlier? On the 2nd phone problem visit, we reported a problem with the passenger seat belt not fully retracting. Given the transportation time cost if we left it, my perturbed state over the lack of concern over my phone problem, and the fact we have an extended warranty that indicates it covers all of the electronics, I did not leave the van to address the seat belt issue. When we brought it back for the 3rd phone visit, the van was out of factory warranty. The problem was diagnosed as a switch on the seat belt. Cost to fix, $1,000. The Service Advisor said it could not be covered under factory warranty, and when he checked, it was not covered under the extended warranty. Advisor seems to be a misnomer. He should have informed me that this was an expensive repair that needed to be completed while in factory warranty as it was not covered under the extended warranty. More
Ordered a new Sprinter early in 2021. When it arrived late that year, it was missing $5,000 in options I ordered. That isn't the fault of the dealer, but I had 0 communication from the dealer about the deleted options. I discovered the deficits when I showed up to collect the vehicle. They discounted the price to reflect the missing options and reduced the discount I had negotiated by the same proportion. The only thing they did was provide 2 h of labor to install the roof rails after I purchased them. Take it, or leave it and start over on a 2022 model with another 6 month wait. More

I have to give our Sales Consultant, Jon Townsend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. My client isn’t the easiest customer, but Jon was beyond helpful and patient as we went through the process. He pulled in the right managers and kept us informed each step of the way. My client wanted a specific car, with very features and after an exhaustive search they found the car he wanted all the way in TN! It’s being shipped here and then Jon will drive it up to my clients house, teach him how to use all of the features and pickup the loaner car my client is driving now. Jon Townsend may be a “car salesman”, but his honesty, integrity and sincerity makes you feel that you’re working with a friend. He truly believes in the cars he’s selling. No pressure, no “ salesman jargon” Just a sincere person who only wants to sell the RIGHT car for you! He and his “behind the scenes management team” delivered a car buying experience unlike anything I’ve ever seen!!! I’ll be recommending him to anyone I know thinking of purchasing a new car!! More
Had a complete misunderstanding with Range Rover Roadside Assistance and Berglund Luxury of Roanoke. It was everyone's understanding that Roadside Assistance was taking care to reunite the vehicle with the owner. Well the dealership after jumping through hoops made this happen. Just was to THANK TOM SLOAN and BRENNAN VILE for ,making this happen. The reason this customer prefers this dealership is the SERVICE. Anyone anywhere can sale you a vehicle and its the greatest day ever. But returning customers come back due to Service. Also, Tom Sloan THANK YOU for your SERVICE to this country, I truly hope that Range Rover Roadside Assistance reimburses for the reunite cause its the right thing to do. In the future anyone getting Roadside Assistance before anything make sure the dealership and Roadside Assistance is on the same page is all cause the cost should not be on the dealership!! More
I bought 2 E 350 from Berglund, and I felt screwed by them because of what I consider a gouge on pricing. My first one they put a premium charge of $2,000 on it. The second one I bought because it had m them because of what I consider a gouge on pricing. My first one they put a premium charge of $2,000 on it. The second one I bought because it had more of the options ( 2) that I wanted. That cost me 15,000 for the trade in of my 2022 E 350 with about 5,000 miles on it. I sold the second E 350 to Berglund which they discounted because they said they do not put used cars on their lot with over 10,000 miles. But as of 12/03/22 there were five Mercedes on their lot with over 10,000--they lied to me. I will never buy another car from Bergund. In addition, they were going to wholesale my 2nd car since it had 11,000 miles on it.. They wholesaled the car so they would not have to tell a buyer what was wrong with the car, which Berglund tried to fix but could not. These were factory problems. More
Took my 2012 Jaguar in for an oil change and described a chronic HVAC problem.
