Review of sales transaction So I went in to the store 3 or 4 times working out arrangements of the deal with Berglund personnel. Sam and Alex were professional, personable, and competent. Aaron who handled the paperwork was restrained with his pitches for supplemental warranties, etc. We appreciated that. We are satisfied with the transaction and Berglund did meet all my terms and conditions (T&C). We went to several other dealerships and had looked at a half dozen or so other brands before settling in on the Mazda. The one negative I have is the condition of the asphalt in the parking lot is terrible. Clearly the Farrell's (owners of the Berglund chain) are not maintaining the infrastructure or if its leased then they are not having the landlord address the issue. I've driven on smoother dirt roads. So for me the condition of the parking lot is so poor it prevents me from giving them an excellent rating. More
Hidden Blue Def Recall My 2012 F-250 Power Stroke with only 25,000 miles experienced a check-engine light which was diagnosed as a problem with the exhaust cleaning system a My 2012 F-250 Power Stroke with only 25,000 miles experienced a check-engine light which was diagnosed as a problem with the exhaust cleaning system already identified by FORD as a problem that prompted what I call a "hidden" recall (one that isn't made public unless a problem was reported). My first visit was on Friday, May 3, where they offered me a loaner vehicle while they worked on my F-250. After a couple hours they called saying it was ready. After picking up my vehicle and driving it about 20 miles, the light was on again and I went back again the same day. They had to order a reductant heater for the Blue-Def system which would take a few days to obtain. I returned on Tuesday, May 14 and was again given a loaner vehicle. My vehicle was ready around 4 in the afternoon and I picked it up. So far it seems to be okay. I applaud Berglund Ford for their courtesies. I did make five individual trips to their dealership to get this problem fixed but if it is in fact fixed, I am satisfied. I worked with Josh Moyer. More
Seamless and friendly We happened to be in town for a college graduation from Northern Virhinia and had only an intention of exploring additional options for a commuter car We happened to be in town for a college graduation from Northern Virhinia and had only an intention of exploring additional options for a commuter car. We looked online and saw some Mazda 3s that peaked our interest, so we went to look at them. Far too often when you go into a dealership, the sales personnel are hovering over you as soon as you pull into the parking lot. Sam approached us after we arrived, and was very attentive to all of our needs. He listened to what we needed, and advocated for our needs. Sam transitioned us to Aaron after we had gone for a test drive and discussed pricing (again advocating to get us the best possible deal). Aaron helped us by keeping us within our budget, and finding the exact options we needed for extended warranty and hazard coverage! Both of these young men were professional, friendly, and relatable. They turned a crazy situation (wife was rear ended, and her car totaled) into a pleasant day at a car lot (sounds crazy, but it was enjoyable). Sam even reached out to ensure we made it home ok, the car was everything we were looking for, and wished my wife a Gappy Mother's Day.
