Recent purchase When we (unfortunately) needed a new car we initially wanted to return to our previous salesman Patrick, however, in lieu of his absence Eric stepped When we (unfortunately) needed a new car we initially wanted to return to our previous salesman Patrick, however, in lieu of his absence Eric stepped in to assist us with our car searching needs. Although BOTH salesmen seemed to have our best interest in mind, especially Patrick, we felt that the financing department was adamant about making money off of our sale regardless of the fact we JUST dealt with a traumatic event of our teenage son’s accident and that we have bought at least 4 vehicles from Berglund within the past 5 years. Both salesman wanted to ensure that we were satisfied, however, amazingly we secured an interest rate elsewhere for several percent less than our credit supported with Berglund. The fact that we were told our credit only warranted a certain percent with Berglund IF we financed through them, it was shockingly different through our bank- to the amount of approx 4% difference with USAA. that being said, if the salesmen wouldn’t have smooths things over we totally were prepared to go elsewhere and recommend that to others! More
