They were Johnny on the spot when I was purchasing the car, responded to all my texts and calls. Assured me the car has no issues.... No navigation, camera, CD, satellite radio, vehicle information system, HVAC controls. Told the dealer was assured that they would cover it. Took it to my shop to find out the car has $3,000 worth of rodent damage. And to add to this car has 3 mismatched tires and the paint condition was horrid. Told the dealer, was told they would send a check...... Now trying to collect, surprisingly no one will answer my calls or texts.. everyone's mailbox is full, no one will give me the names of management. Now I need to waste more time to take this to litigation.... Go somewhere else that takes pride in their work, total scam.... More
I purchased the 2022 Tesla Model Y on June 22, 2024. I was told I would get a towing hitch added at no cost. That then changed to I would have to pay for the hitch and wire harness but they would instal I was told I would get a towing hitch added at no cost. That then changed to I would have to pay for the hitch and wire harness but they would install it at no charge. A few days later, I asked how much I owed for the hitch and harness. A day or two later, I was told I had to order the parts and have them sent there. At this point I needed to get the car delivered to me. I told them to compensate me for ordering and paying for the labor here in Minnesota. I asked for $300. Next was the long wait for delivery. I was told it was picked up June 29th or 30th and should be to me by July 6th or 7th. That was a lie. It was picked up July 6th. When it got to my house on July 12th it was covered in hail damage dents. I refused delivery at this point and sent an email demanding something in writing/email stating that they would pay for the repairs. I received that email from Javier. At that point I arranged to take delivery on the 13th of July. This is the contents of the email from Javier: From: Javier Ortiez Jortiz@benjiautosales.com Sent: Saturday, July 13, 2024 11:27 AM To: Kent Larson klarson381@gmail.com Subject: Re: 2022 Tesla issue Kent, this is Javier the finance manager, if the car has any type of dents we would cover it. But take the opportunity to inspect the vehicle first. I made an appointment and took it to Kent's Body shop for an estimate July 17, 2024. I emailed the estimate, $4,968.06 and photos to Javier on July 17, 2024. I have emailed Javier many times (jortiz@benjiautosales.com) with no response. I included Leandro, my sales rep, (leandrof2114@gmail.com). I have called many times and have only talked with Javier once or twice. He acted like he was upset that no one had reached out to me and that he believed it was being handled. I believe that was also a lie. I late found out that the decision had to made by Tony (jr@benjiautosales.com). I have had no response from Tony, email or phone. I have called for him also many times. The $5,395.06 is the $4,968.06 for the hail damage and $427.00 for installing the hitch. I am not asking anything for the hitch or wiring harness parts. It's now been 7 weeks since I purchased the car. Nothing is being done to resolve this issue. I also do not have any current registration paperwork for the car. More
Don’t pay for an extended warranty on a $50,000 because they will default on it. This dealer is a scammer with multiple complaints for scam and consumer abuse. Do not buy from this dealer or you will be scammed. Stay away from these scammers. Not only was she not there but the car I wanted was sold the night before, she didn’t ask for a deposit to hold the car or anything. So I wasted my time and money flying to Miami to pick up this car and didn’t get it. Also spoke to multiple managers and sales person Alex was blown off like oh well you missed out on a car, not an apology for the miscommunication or anything. All around terrible experience, and lack of professional courtesy. More

We were buying a Tesla that needed to be transferred from Miami to Orlando. We paid a $600 deposit for the car. Our dealer was Steven, who was not responsive after we made the deposit. I purchased a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unltd Sport thru Benji Auto Sales. It was, by far, the worst experience I've had purchasing a car, so much so that I considered forfeiting my initial deposit and taking my Auto Sales. The customer service skills were sorely lacking. I couldn't get straight answers from my salesperson, David Hodges, or I'd get conflicting answers to straightforward questions. I had to resort to calling several different people at the dealership to figure out what was happening, and was chastised by this salesperson for doing so. I would NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. If I had to to do this over again, I would not. More

I was rushed into signing paperwork for a vehicle that wasn't even on their lot after 2 other cars were sold to someone else even after starting the purchase process. This process started last Sunday, June 2nd. I stopped short of signing all of the paperwork and I told them I'd sign and pay once I see the car. Come Wednesday, June 5th, the car arrived and I was being told I had better sign and pay or someone else would be buying the car. Once I signed and payed, that night I asked my salesman what's next. Radio supplement. He had ghosted me and is now a different person. I can't get straight answers without having to keep calling into the office and bring others involved. As it stands right now, even though I was told that a delivery company would claim my delivery by Saturday morning, today, I haven't heard anything and when I called in all they tell me is they know as much as I do. This whole deal has been super stressful and all I needed was my salesrep to do was do what he said he would do and answer any question I had. Instead, he makes me feel like I'm a burden on him. I hope I hear from them on Monday, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen. More
