Great buying and selling experience, but mechanical issues I bought a 2015 Nissan Murano at the used car section of Beck and Masten North and although I was happy with the price, apr and overall experience of I bought a 2015 Nissan Murano at the used car section of Beck and Masten North and although I was happy with the price, apr and overall experience of the car buying process, I was extremely disappointed with the fact that my car needed new back brakes, a trans flush, and a brake flush (not to mention two recalls) which were NOT performed at the dealership before purchase of the vehicle. I also asked my sales gentleman multiple times for service record and information regarding brakes and inspection information, only to be put off. I really wanted to tell yelp, google review, etc what a great dealership Beck and Masten is but unfortunately with the mechanical issues that should have been addressed prior to purchase, it has ruined my good opinion of this dealership. This is reflected appropriately with the two stars overall satisfaction. Update: Spoke with Melinda Lewis over three weeks ago and she said she would tell the used car sales manager what happened and have him contact me. He called me the next day, gave me the whole "The car was checked, it was in perfect working order." I told him I had it checked at baker Nissan and fixed at Pep boys and they both confirmed the 3% back brakes, brake flush and trans flush that had not been done and needed to be repaired prior to purchase. He then said he would talk to Ray (the sales associate who sold me the vehicle) and Melinda to confirm I contacted them prior to repair about what was going on with my vehicle. Haven't heard from him since. They say customers satisfaction is number one, but in the end they gave me the run around and never took responsibility for selling me a car that needed repairs and had two recalls out on it, (which he also claimed no knowledge of.) Beware of purchasing a vehicle here! After this whole ongoing issue I've lowered the star value even lower to 1, so disappointed with my car buying experience. More

They advertise $10,250 off on Yukon Denali's but whe Deceptive One word that describes the sales tactics at Beck and Masten GMC in Houston, Texas. They advertise $10,250 off on Yukon Denali's but when you call in to inquire they tell you that you must work for a GM supplier to get that pricing that is advertised on their website, autotrader.com, and cars.com. I worked specifically with Cesar Villanueva who told me that management would not allow him to send me a purchase agreement so that I could see the pricing with any applicable discounts or rebates. He said not to worry about it, they are the largest GMC dealer in the South and they would give me the best deal possible. I buy a lot of cars and any HONEST and REPUTABLE dealer will send you the purchase agreement showing the details of the deal. I never made it to the dealer but I am betting that they do whatever they can to get you into the dealership and then apologize for the misunderstanding while they jack up the price. I would be very cautious dealing with this dealership and the management that puts out the deceptive advertising. TIP: NEVER USE THE FINANCING AT THE DEALER. Get a loan from your local Credit Union, you will get a much better rate that isn't marked up by the dealer. More

Implied im a liar Well I was heading to West Point GMC but saw the same truck (Sierra SLT) on the lot so i stopped to see. I then met Jesus Martinez and explained what i wanted. We then walked the lot and found a truck close to what I was looking for so i test drove that. Everything was going good until it was time to get the numbers. Jesus came straight to me with the MSRP of over 51k. I asked him about the 30 percent off that was online..he stated different truck. Fair enough. I then asked him why he was starting at MSRP when the price on line was 38. I was explaining to him that other dealerships (westpoint) (gateway)(patriot) all were giving me better numbers. Jesus then implied that somebody must be lieing. I asked him flat out if he was calling me a liar or the other dealerships..he would not clarify but kept saying maybe somebody is lieing. After asking him three or four times, i could see he was getting mad so i said no thanks and left. I understand everybody does business differently, but never ever imply a customer is lieing. Hands down the most unprofessional thing i have encountered. More

When we arrived at the dealership and pulled up the website, the same vehicle (same stock number), was now showing $72,000. When I asked the Internet salesperson about this, she told me that the vehicle I was referring to had just sold. I told her that I had written down the stock number (which contains the last 4 numbers of the VIN), and it was exactly the same, so then she said, well, don't worry, we will honor the price. After about an hour of waiting, we were assigned a salesperson who said the best he could do was $72,000. Needless to say, we walked out. Lying about a vehicle and then saying they would honor the price, only to come back and raise the price...bad business! More
Worst buying experience I tried to buy a car that they supposedly had at the dealership and told them that I was only interested in that car. They said they had it and it would be ready out front so that I could test drive it. I live on the other side of Houston so I made sure it was there before I drove to the dealership. When I got to the dealer, I didn't see the car so I went in and the salesman said he would go get it. He drove around a blue one, not the red one that I wanted to buy. I asked where it was and he said it was in the back somewhere, I test drove the car and we went in to start the paperwork for the red one. He kept trying to get me to buy the blue one. During the time I was in the office he was in and out and kept me waiting for two and a half hours. He kept uping the price for the red one. Anyway I had to walk out because it was plain as day they lied to me about having the car. I've had this happened to me before at other dealerships but they tell me that the car has already been sold when I get there, which is frustrating but at least I did not get the run around like Beck and Masten North In my opinion this dealer is very dishonest. The paperwork that they were showing me was trying to get me to pay higher payments than it should. It pays for you to use your phone and go online to calculate what a payment should be, Don't take their word for it. More
