I purchased a 2018 Nissan Sentra brand new in April 2018. When purchasing the vehicle I also purchased an extended warranty. I recenlty brought my car in for service and asked about my extended warranty, onl When purchasing the vehicle I also purchased an extended warranty. I recenlty brought my car in for service and asked about my extended warranty, only to find out it was canceled. I went over to the sales department to request a copy of the warranty agreement, thats when I was told it was canceled and to contact the warranty company. I called the warranty company to find out it was canceled by the dealership and it has been canceled for 3years. I never recieved a letter, a refund, a reason why it was canceled by the dealership. So I contact the dealership again and speak with Terrance and he contacted someone in accoutning. I asked them how is this possible and if I didn't try to use my warranty I would have never known that it had been canceled. Mind you my loan from the bank includes the $813.00 for the extended warranty that I thought I had. They decided to send a refund to my bank which it should go to me to purchase another extended warranty. ( still waiting on a check number and a copy of the check and the date it was issued) I also spoke with my bank who agreed. Im just happy they decided to refund my money but its not enough, my warranty has been canceled for 3 years not 3 months, and no one took the time to tell me. I'm convinced that this isn't the first time this has happened. My main concern is how many customers has this happended to. I also feel that Bannister Nissan of Chesapeake owes me an extended warranty. I am currently still making payments on this vehicle and I need my exteded warranty. There is no reason I should have to go without one. They need to purchase me another warranty.. Its sad because when I purchased my vehicle the service was great from the begining to the end. Now that this has happened no one knows anything and all I get is an apology. More
My son is trying to complain the Pathfinder that he got last year 2021 model with lots of problem. Has been in a repair numerous times. When I said I'll take action regarding it he approached us and took us to an office and threatening us that we are doing illegal things Jose Avila said since you are going to give us a bad review he showed us the copy of old papers of the appraisal value of the car and stated that we are trying to do illegal transaction. He is retaliating toward us. I just questioned them that they are selling a faulty SUV in the full price,he said their company has nothing to do with it is Nissan who are producing faulty vehicle. Well, he should know that he represent Nissan. He thinks that he can threaten a customer. He should be fire for what he has been doing. Next step report to consumer services, Nissan company, and BBB. I purchased a 2011 Honda with inspection sticker with July 2022. I started having problems with the shaking in the front. My mechanic started it was the upper motor mount. I took it to banister Nissan for them to look at my car. They clam my mechanic did something to it but when I went to pick my car I noticed my inspection was messed with. So Steven manage stated they were going to fix and inspected again. I noticed that my inspection was September 2022 and my car had a vibration. They said it was normal for my year and model. Ed, Ron and Jose treated me like crap. Then I ask to speak with Dan, the clerk stated he was too busy, he was in a meeting. John district manager spoke with me. He stated he was going to do right by me. John found two car 2013 Nissan rouge and 2014 Nissan Altima which are known to have transmission problems. So I ask for my money back, John stated I will not receive the full amount because DMV sales tax, plates and processing fee. Please please check reviews before you purchase with them or ask plenty of questions. once you sign the paperwork that’s it. Buyers beware More
A few weeks ago my family rented 2 vans because we were going on this big trip. So when we got there to pick up the vans one was ready and the other one was going to be ready the next day at 10.Even though going on this big trip. So all the people kept saying is I apologize but its not here.U don't know much that put us at an inconvenience we planned this trip 2 months in advance. We had 9 ppl to be in that van and they gave us 2 cars but we wanted to ride together. I jus think that people got to be accountable for their actions. If u sorry act like it. Customer service was very poorly. On top of that the wrong lady lied and said I promised it will be here in the morning and that was a lie. I do not recommend their rental services. More

Sold my car to them before moving overseas. Got a quote from CARFAX and Banister Nissan emailed to say they were interested. I made an appointment and took my car in. They looked it over and gave me a qu from CARFAX and Banister Nissan emailed to say they were interested. I made an appointment and took my car in. They looked it over and gave me a quote (not great) so I said thank you and left. A couple of days later they emailed to see if I was still interested in selling, I said I was but only for $x amount with some reasons why I thought the initial quote was too low. They accepted! So back I went, handed over the keys and within 45 mins the paperwork was done. A week later I got a check in the mail. Easy and friendly, quick and efficient and most importantly, to their word. Tim Lopez, Ron Watson and Maddie Vick helped initially and then Ed Pelczarski took over post sale. Thanks for the purchase. More

Go to Toyota, do not go to Nissan if you are looking for a lease! Watch out especially for Ron Watson. He is nice enough but he is a salesman through and through. I am a college student and I needed a cheap a lease! Watch out especially for Ron Watson. He is nice enough but he is a salesman through and through. I am a college student and I needed a cheap lease on a car for three years. He "best" offer was a FOUR year lease with over $2000 cash down at over $450 a month for a NISSAN VERSA, their cheapest car!!! With that price I would be paying for more than what the vehicle was worth! He then tried to convince me that it was standard pricing and I should just buy it new as I would be paying less. I would have left out of there crying if it was not for Helen Smith who works there. She was understanding that I had a budget that I could not deviate from. Go to Toyota if you want a lease! I got a Corolla for $10,000 LESS than what Nissan and that included add on items like additional coverage. Toyota has made a lifetime customer out of me and I will never recommend Nissan to anyone. I have decided to pursue a different route to handle this matter. I am not sure what you can do at this point, but I am VERY DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR LACK OF DOING YOUR JOB CORRECTLY.
