After some bad service at another dealership, I went to Nissan of Chesapeake to see if I could receive help with a problem with my car. Jay and James went out of their way to resolve my issue and keep me Nissan of Chesapeake to see if I could receive help with a problem with my car. Their work renewed my faith in Nissan and gained Nissan of Chesapeake a new customer. The 2013 Nissan Altima I just purchased from Nissan of Chesapeake was the 5th new vehicle I purchased over the last 30+ years. While there is always lots of excitement and anticipation associated with the purchase of a new vehicle, the buying experience itself has always been stressful and unwelcome. But my recent experience with Nissan of Chesapeake was such a breath of fresh air. All the folks I dealt with at Nissan of Chesapeake were awesome. Beginning and ending with Terence Benn who gave me all the time, information and feedback that I needed to support my car selection, and ultimately becoming a primary factor in my decision on where to purchase my new vehicle.The day I purchased my car, Terence had concluded 3 sales, and it is no surprise based on the level of customer service that he provides. Thank you, Terence! Alex Hargrow was incredibly easy to work with in doing price negotiations (almost exclusively via phone and email) and helped me to get the exact vehcile I wanted, with the right options and colors, with all available rebate and financing incentives, and at the out-the-door price I needed. This has usually been the most stressful part of a car purchase, but Alex made it simple and stress free. When it came to doing the paperwork and prepping the new car, Delvin Washington and Rick Sanchez continued to show me how Nissan of Chesapeake values each and every customer. The high level of service and attention is consistent up and down the organization. Nissan of Chesapeake totally changed my perception of a new car purchase experience. This is the absolute BEST dealership around. Everything was done via email with Alex Hargrow. I discussed how we had just purchased a dodge dart back in October and how a birth control fail landed us pregn was done via email with Alex Hargrow. I discussed how we had just purchased a dodge dart back in October and how a birth control fail landed us pregnant with a third child. Well a dart is a compact and there was no way we could have three kids in carseats in that vehicle. We negotiated a price on a brand new nissan quest with all the extras I wanted as well as a trade amount for my dart. I was sure something was going to go wrong once we got there, most car salesmen lie to get you into the dealership but EVERYTHING we discussed in the email stayed as previously discussed! I got 7,000 more for my trade than dealerships like Pomoco, Hall, and Dodge were offering me. Truly the BEST car buying experience of my life. The people here at the Chesapeake dealer are not regular car salesmen. They are people who truly care and truly give you the best! I recommend this dealership to EVERYONE!!!!!!! More

After negotiating a price via email, I visited the dealership. They attempted to lowball me on my trade-in, then raised the price $1000 over what we had discussed. The manager was rude and unhelpful dealership. They attempted to lowball me on my trade-in, then raised the price $1000 over what we had discussed. The manager was rude and unhelpful, and I left without purchasing a vehicle. Total waste of my time. More

I talked on the phone with Ms Copeland and she assured me that she would be able to help my daughter get approved for a used car...After talking to my daughter Ms Copeland told her that she was approved me that she would be able to help my daughter get approved for a used car...After talking to my daughter Ms Copeland told her that she was approved for $9,000 and with a cosigner she would beable to get more...My daughter made an appoint ment to set everything up and we drove her from Hampton to Cheseapke to find someone else, Josh Dickson to handle Ms Copeland's appointment. He couldn't find where my daughter was already approved for $9,000. and he wanted her to put down $1800 with a co signer with her. This place was very dissappointing to me , my daughter, the co-signer and I would never recommend this place to anyone.. More
4 months ago I bought a vehicle from Imperial Motors located on Virginia Beach Blvd. They assured my family that the vehicle was a great vehicle and would not give us any problems. We had purchased the located on Virginia Beach Blvd. They assured my family that the vehicle was a great vehicle and would not give us any problems. We had purchased the vehicle do to a growing family and 6 weeks before the delivery of our 3rd child the vehicle broke down almost causing a huge accident with my two sons in the car, myself and my husband. We called Imperial Motors and they informed us that we were basically screwed, they were not going to fix the vehicle, they bought it at an auction so they really didn't know anything about the vehicle and to call the auction or have it repoed and bring him $2000.00 so Imperial Motors could get us into another vehicle (probably a vehicle that would break down in a couple months again). Noway! We had the vehicle towed to Nissan of Chesapeake where Scott Barber took it into their service department, had the mechanic diagnose the vehicle, and called us. Upon diagnoses the transfer case was shot, the complete engine was about to fail and it appeared that the engine had been welded together along with a few other minor problems such as fuses and the back window not rolling down. At that point Scott had informed us of this and said we could either fix the vehicle and expect about $5000.00 more in damages in a couple months or speak to a sales department rep. Cheryl Copeland had contacted my family immediatly and worked with our work schedules by staying there late to wait for us. We explained to Cheryl our situation and financial issues and she made sure that our deposit on the new vehichle would be extended for 45 days. My credit score is at a 600, so I was positive that there was nothing they could do. Well I was wrong, Cheryl contacted Gino, our sales consultant at which point he guided us through the vehicles that we could purchase to incure those extra costs from my old vehicle by using there Nissan rebates. We drove out of Chesapeake of Nissan, with a brand new Nissan Quest that had only 7 miles on it with a warranty that Veronica Seaman had made sure we left there with. Veronica also kept us at payments we could afford and our down payment was deffered for 45 days. Our new Nissan Quest is currently sitting in my driveway all thanks to Cheyl, Scott, Gino, and Veronica at Chesapeake of Nissan. If it wasn't for them I would have had a broke down vehicle, paying $350.00 a month, no way to get my family around until I got together the money to fix the other vehicle and most importantly no way to get my unborn child home from the hospital because my husbands vehicle is a work van. It scared me! All I did was have my broke down vehicle towed there and as a team they took care of the rest. Everybody was extremely friendly, efficient, promt, and quick. Gino made me popcorn while I waited for paperwork and my sons ate all his candy in his dish. Along with driving away with a brand new vehicle I have oil changes, state inspections, car washes, and nitrogen air for the life of my vehicle. Veronica also got me a warranty on the vehicle that was fully transferable and could be used as a down payment on my next vehicle. I can't thank you enough. I will never go to another dealership.
