Worst ever I bought a car for my wife from Nissan Of Chesapeake on Feb 24, 2017. There were a few minor problems which I fixed. On April 20, the car broke down o I bought a car for my wife from Nissan Of Chesapeake on Feb 24, 2017. There were a few minor problems which I fixed. On April 20, the car broke down on the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Independence Blvd. The battery was almost completely dead. It was while trying to get this fixed that I learned the car had serious intermittent electrical problems which were evident before the car was offered for sale, and that had proven unfixable. In fact, the situation was so serious that the car shouldn’t have been offered for sale at all. The sales manager told me he would give me $18,000 for the car. I told him I paid $18,281. 78. He said I would eat the difference. I told him I had replaced broken parts on the car which cost me $162.97. I got to eat that. Tax, License, etc. ($1718.22), my loss. I was also under the impression I would be given a check for $18,000 to pay off my loan, but what I was given was a trade-in credit so that I had to purchase a replacement car from them. They kept trying to direct me toward cars way outside of my budget, and although they had cars at their Norfolk store, which were more affordable, they told me if I selected one of them, I would have to pay an additional charge to get the car inspected by the Chesapeake store. They found a car that had just come in and I test drove it. It was $1178 more than the first car I bought. I had a bad feeling about the car, and though we came to an agreement, I told them if the car couldn’t pass inspection, the deal was off. It was found that although the car had a clean CarFax report, it failed inspection and was in fact also unfit for sale. I finally went on my own to the Norfolk store and found a car to my liking, which was inspected and certified in Norfolk. It was offered at $13,791, was a year newer than the second car they offered me, and still was under factory warranty. This is the car I finally bought. I went back to my credit union to get the check from my new loan, and bought the car. Even though it had the highest certification from the Norfolk store, they still offered me a Chespeake inspection for an additional $900. Later, while updating my insurance, I found out they had gotten the Sales Agreement wrong. That cost me another trip to the dealer and re-writing of the loan agreement at my credit union. In addition, this is the second email I received asking about my experience. The first one had one question: How was my experience". When I answered negatively, it informed me a sales manager would be in contact with me by phone. I am still awaiting that call. I brought it to sales manager Dwane Cochenour, and he asked who had sent the email. When I showed him he sent it, he was concerned about why he hadn't gotten my reply. He NEVER ASKED WHY MY EXPERIENCE WAS BAD! As a sales associate, Ron Watson was beyond terrible! He did absolutely nothing but collect his commission. More

I came in for a swap the keys event and never thought I'd leave with a showroom car!!! Jonelle worked within my budget and any doubts I had were addressed. This dealership offered me more than any other dealership and I truly walked out feeling like I made a great purchase (they also celebrate your purchase as well where everyone comes up and congratulates you). The other employees like the managers and other Salesman were great as well. I would urge anyone to give Nissan of Chesapeake a chance, you won't regret it! More

GO TO MAURICIO I was looking to get out of a bad deal that I made to get a very mileage 2005 Dodge Stratus that was made at a "Buy Here, Pay Here" dealership. He customer service excellent. He even visited the 7/11 next door to accommodate us with the special beverages of our choice. He was very funny and left us with a great impression. He was putting in the effort and running back and forth to his manager to try to get our deal done. This man showed us compassion unlike no other car salesman that we been involved in. She was welcoming from the moment I got out of my car. I went to the dealership with the intention of purchasing a used Sentra with 45k miles on it. I was nervous in the beginning but Stacy's friendly demeanor and delightful humor definitely calmed my nerves. She walked me through the process and delivered excellent service, answered all of my questions and didn't pressure me at all. It was nice working with a woman, there's just a level of comfort in feeling like you won't be taken advantage of. I drove away that night with a brand new 2017 Sentra with 10 miles!!! Nigel Jones took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a brand new 2017 Nissan Altima that I LOVE and can afford.
