I bought my car to have someone fix the leak from antifreeze. The mechanic told me that the Heater Hose needed to be replaced. That was done; however, the antifreeze is still leaking from the car. antifreeze. The mechanic told me that the Heater Hose needed to be replaced. That was done; however, the antifreeze is still leaking from the car. Took the car back and the mechanic could not find a leak. I know the car has a leak, but Banister Ford could not find it. After the service of the heater hose being replaced, I ask to speak with the mechanic for a better understanding of why a heater hose needed to be replace when is 90 plus decrees and I not even using the heater. Needless to say, of course mechanic was not available as I was to the by the finance person. I asked if he could give me a call when available, never happened.. However, they did suggest new brakes. The brakes are good. I now have to take the car to another Ford Dealership to have the problem solved. More

Estimate was $918, but since I’m a veteran, it was $910 for the service. The final bill was almost $2,000. I will not continue my business and I also called customer service to file a complaint because I had to do my own research and saw that in the state of MD, the estimate can't be more than 10% and if it was going over 10%, I was supposed to get a call to give consent on going forward which didn’t happen. Also, it's shady when they purposefully don't add in labor costs on the estimate. Very misleading and unethical, for that reason, I can’t recommend this dealership to friends or family. The trust is broken and I’ve been taken advantage of. Look for another dealership to conduct your business with. More

Came in to get my oil changed on my 2020 Explorer. Tech spilled oil under the hood and didnt clean it up. Had oil drippings in my driveway. went to get a recall done ( Bolt and backup camera ) Tech spilled oil under the hood and didnt clean it up. After hour 6 i check on the status, now Im told i have to leave my vehicle overnight. Went to Waldorf Ford, they took care of it, same day!!!! Now, Bannister FORD no longer honors the VIP package i purchased on my 2020XLT...Im DONE with them!! Service was mediocre anyway!! More
