Previously, my experience buying a car has been adequate at best. Working with Mr. Vela was a different experience. Primarily, he listened to what I requested and secondly there were no games! In the past I have literally walked out of dealerships because they were wanted to sell certain cars not necessary what I came in for and they wanted to start high and make it look like they were giving me a special deal (making us go through several iterations of prices before giving the one they probably were going to give me to start with). i have a 2011 nissan murano that i bought brand new from baker nissan south dealership. the vehicle was involved in an accident in June 2013. we chose nissan north collision center to fix the damage because baker nissan south dealership. the vehicle was involved in an accident in June 2013. we chose nissan north collision center to fix the damage because we trusted them. on the day we went to pick the vehicle, we saw a damage that was not repaired. we asked the service adviser why that spot was not repaired. it was exactly on the side of the car that was damaged in the accident. he apologized and promised to submit a claim for it and get it fixed. he was suppose to call me back and let me know how it went. he never did. i called him two days later to get an update. he said that the insurance company would not fix it. it was not a good customer service to let me know about it after i called him instead of him initiating the call as soon as he learned of the insurance company's reply. i told him i would call them back and let him know their reply. i called the insurance company and asked them why they would not cover the damage. they said it was the belief of my service adviser that it was not a damage from the accident. instead it was a rock chip. therefore, they would not cover it. this was a slap in the face. the man and the dealership i trusted and thought he was working for me now chose to spare the insurance company from taking care of their responsibility. i was shocked. i called the adviser ( can not call him my adviser at his point) why he would tell the insurance company it was not part of the damage from the accident. his defense was that i did not show him the damage. first of all this was dishonest. he never told me that the damage was not part of the accident when i asked him why it was not fixed. secondly, i showed him where the damage was. i did not even had to show him. that was the only damage on the front of the car. thirdly, how could he fix everything around this area and claim that part was not from the accident? he again promised to bring the insurance company out to the dealership and show them the damage that was not covered. i insisted that at this point he did the damage him self and nissan should find a way to rectify the damage. he promised he would take care of it. two days later, i gave him a call and he was out.again i called two days later on a Monday. he answered the phone and told me that the vehicle was ready. i went out to the dealership to pick the car and discovered that the damage has not been fixed. i went to speak to the manager about it. the manager called him to the office and asked him why he had to involve himself like that. the manager said nissan does not decide what the insurance company should and should not cover. he apologized to me. would i trust nissan to fix my car again? no!!!at least, not by its collision center!!!! my experience tells me that nissan collision center under cut its customers to be on good side with the insurance companies. More
Right when we walked in we were greeted very nicely and then directed towards Jessie, which hands down was the best. After finalizing the car we were takem to Finance I dont remember the gentleman name who helped us but he was amazing to he helped and talked everything through did not rush us. In the end I had an amazing experience I would most likely return there n suggest friends and family to go there. More
