Brought my 2024 M440 in for service at noon on a Thursday. My problem was with apple car play automatically disconnecting my phone every time I tried to access the vehicle microphone. They said they were very busy and needed to give me a rental car. This seemed odd but I agreed and they proceeded to give me a Kia Soul as a rental. To say I was not impressed was a major understatement. They didn’t get my vehicle into a technician until 4PM on Friday and then I got a call late on Saturday saying they had upgraded software and I could come get the vehicle but they were closed on Sunday. I was out of town Monday so I went Tuesday AM to pick up the vehicle. I keep this car spotless and there is not a scratch on it. When I received the car back from my service writer it was covered from front to back in bird droppings, bright white all over my gray car. He proceeded to tell me that I had asked to not have my vehicle washed, which I never said, so I told him it 100% needed to be washed. He took it back and must have sprayed it with a hose because when it came back there were still at least 20 areas where I needed to use a cloth to remove it myself. At this time I tested the car play issue I had and it was not fixed. I was beyond annoyed at this point and had to leave the dealership before I did or said something I would really regret. The level of disorganization and unprofessional at this dealership is like nothing I have ever seen. I guess my next car will not be a BMW because it’s way to hard to get service close to home. More
