We bought our 325xi (certified pre-owned) with Jamie in May 2007. Since we live about 30 minutes from the dealership, it was difficult to arrange a time to drop off the car for its annual tune-up. Jaime provides personalized service for his customers which is one of the little extras that make the dealership stand out as a quality and customer oriented business. All the work is prompt and the comm which is one of the little extras that make the dealership stand out as a quality and customer oriented business. I had actually avoided the closest, most obvious solution–the BMW dealership in Peabody as I made the assumption that its location (on 114 where I have had so many bad car-buying experiences) would result in yet another miserable, awkward and harassing experience. I had heard something about a new BMW 128i that was a bit more modestly priced so I figured I'd stop by to take a look–hoping not to be seen by any salespeople. After looking around the lot for a while, I realized they did not have any in stock and decided to ask about their availability to someone on their way into the dealership. After talking for a few minutes with Flavio Ferreria I was amazed to find out he was a car salesman. He told me a bit about the 1 series, answered some questions and never once mentioned anything about buying a car from him. He explained that it would have to be ordered (it was not yet available)–but a demo would be available within a week. I decided to go back and test drive the 128i and was blown away by how it drove and more than that, I was now sold on buying a car from BMW peabody–even after test driving I did not receive any annoying phone calls, any mailers and Flavio never did anything but answer my questions and let me demo any cars without any pretention or pressure to purchase. He knew I was fairly desparate for a car but he insisted that I NOT purchase the 128i on the lot that was currently available on the lot as: I wasn't crazy about the color I wasn't into paying for some of the features it had and not having a few others I wanted. He said to just order it and wait–may have cost him a sale that day as I just needed to be pushed a bit and I would have gone for it––instead I got good, honest advice. MY EXPERIENCE / THE SERVICE Not wanting to wait, I still looked everywhere for the car I wanted. Flavio tried to find one in the entire country and could not–its a brand new model and I wanted VERY specific features. ---- I had gone to Boston for work and decided to stop by HERB CHAMBERS and test drive the 128i with my boss–who had been with me to test drive other BMWs. The process took about 4 hours to test drive and get out of Herb Chambers. While the salesman himself was actually fairly nice (although not all that knowledgable), I got the feeling I was not allowed to leave–in fact, as nice as their valet service is, it kinda traps you–in order to get your car back, you have to speak with a manager. They wouldn't let me leave (well, made it so rediculously uncomfortable) until I had all the numbers worked out on buying the car. I left their so overwhelmed and annoyed that it was making a $40k car purchase feel like torture.. I called up Flavio and told him what I was ready to move forward. BMW of Peabody misrepresented the money factor on my leased car. Their sales person told me a low money factor for leasing of the vehicle when I was interested to buy and while he was trying to sell m leased car. Then, when I signed the contract they calculated my monthly lease payment based on a higher money factor. My experience is that the staff at this dealership is pleasant before selling you a vehicle, but then after the transaction is comlete and you sign the paper, they don't do nothing to get your satisfaction. I am not even taking my car to this dealership for service any more as I have had a horrible experience with my leased car purchase. The bad experience was definitely not worth the little less money I paid at purchase. More
Corey was willing to conduct all buiness over the phone / e-mail. All other MA dealers had no interest. All they wanted to do was get me in the showroom. He got me the model I wanted with everything I requested, no more, no less. It was the best experience I have had purchasing a car and I have purchased many. Thanks BMW of Peabody and Corey! More

We discussed various options, such as,used, former loaner fleet cars, and new. When I made the decision to buy new, Jamie was able to locate the specific car I wanted. The trade-in value for my existing car was reasonalbe, unlike other dealerships that were low-balling my trade. My new car came in much sooner than promised, which was a pleasant surprise. The paperwork was error free. I spoke to Jack over the phone and he told me to see Wendy that evening. Jack had everything ready for Wendy, so I was in and out in 10 to 15 minutes. The delivery was very professional. Jamie took the time to go over every feature. Jamie was enthusiasm was evident throughout the process. More
I was referred to Jamie by a friend who owns other dealerships (other brands). Jamie used to work with this person and came very highly recommended. He did not disappoint. I expressed a concern that his dealership was not as close as other dealers and he explained that shouldn't be a consideration. I expressed my concern about the distance for service appointments, test drives, etc. Jamie explained that he enjoys getting to know his customers and personally delivers the cars to their homes for the inital sale AND service appointments. My car has been in for routine service and one minor faulty sensor and Jamie has arranged to pick up my car each time. He makes owning a BMW an absolute breeze and pleasure. If you are looking for good customer service and attention to detail - you definitely need to go see Jamie McCoy. Unlike any other dealer I have ever worked with, he knows me, my wife, kids, etc. He truly understands the meaning of long term value of a customer and he has me hooked. More
