The most unpleasant experience ever. The sales manager was not even willing to give me a counteroffer until I raised my voice and told him that I would absolutely not buy a car from him unless he gave me was not even willing to give me a counteroffer until I raised my voice and told him that I would absolutely not buy a car from him unless he gave me a lower quote. I was willing to negotiate and had the $ money to buy the car, I was prepared for this kind of nastiness. This was a third car for my family and I could have walked out, in hindsight I realize that would have been a better option that haggling with this difficult and arrogant man. I will never buy another car from this dealership again. Also, the finance manager offered a low financing rate right when I was about to sign the check for the full purchase price. I didn't need the financing but these games were ridiculous. It's a disgrace to BMW to have this kind of people sell their vehicles. More
When I ordered an X6 Xdrive35i from Northwest BMW in April 2008 I was told that the car will be ready in 8-10 weeks. In June they told me the car is little late, but 100% will be ready in July. July bec April 2008 I was told that the car will be ready in 8-10 weeks. In June they told me the car is little late, but 100% will be ready in July. July became August, August became September, And September now became October. Today is October 20,2008 and salesperson in Northwest told me that car is being produced right now!!!)) I did not trust them after 6 months of delay. Called BMW production line, they told me that dealership is not telling you truth, WE HAVE NOT YET STARTED BUILDING YOUR CAR!!! And my $3,000 deposit was sitting in Northwest BMWs bank account for 6 months for NOTHING. After hearing so many lies by Northwest staff, today I decided to cancel my order and get my deposit back. You know, it is a nice business, get $3,000 from couple dozens of customers and keep lieing to them while you earn some interest on their deposits, and finally tell them "SORRY, WE APPOLOGIZE, HERE IS YOUR DEPOSIT!" I am not an american, but I am sure THIS IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY OF MAKING MONEY! Moral of this story: save yourself a trouble, AVOID NORTHWEST BMW! More
The best service hands down! Friendly courteous staff. They are a hard working friendly team that tries very hard at customer satisfaction. Best of all, they always had a loaner. Tried to book at Fairfax BMW and they put me on hold, transferred me to mail boxes with no call backs. Walked in to Arlington BMW and they just ignored me, I guess I don't look like a 330i fully loaded kinda person. Oh well. Take it from me Northwest BMW is worth the drive. More
I bought and installed an OEM alarm and just needed it activated. I called EVERY MD dealer out there and asked for a price quote. All I needed was for them to hook it up to the computer and activate the a activated. I called EVERY MD dealer out there and asked for a price quote. All I needed was for them to hook it up to the computer and activate the alarm. Tops 15 min only because it takes a little to download the info from my car to their computer. Every dealer quoted me 110-130 $$ except for Northwest ($50). I also ordered some parts one being a very difficult one to explain and they got that one wrong but that was partly my fault. They corrected it and even covered the $5 difference for the mixup. I was dissapointed however when I needed my airbag light reset. Another 5-10min process they quoted and stuck on $120 when you can buy the tool to do it yourself for $100. Overall I am satisfied and from the other horror stories I hear about other dealers I plan on sticking with Northwest. More
went in w/1997 540 still covered under warranty for misc. work. didnt fix but 2 of 4 items on list and told me my engine lite was on and new sensor had to be attched. told greg that lite is always on [ditto work. didnt fix but 2 of 4 items on list and told me my engine lite was on and new sensor had to be attched. told greg that lite is always on [ditto for my wifes 2000 528]. argued w/ me that i was hairbrained not to fix but i held my ground. when car was ready i went in and greg said they put a new sensor in free of charge. now i know from previous experience that they just hook it up to their computer, put my # in and reset the sensor .there was a 130 dollar charge on my receipt that was deducted from my bill!in 2003 many of the service people abandoned NW and fled to towson bmw.
