Over four years, my experiences here have generally been good. The Service Advisors are great and help with the overall experience a lot; very responsive, personable, and flexible. However, an issue under w good. The Service Advisors are great and help with the overall experience a lot; very responsive, personable, and flexible. However, an issue under warranty wasn't resolved after multiple times bringing it in and the tech claiming it's resolved. Does anyone really care as long as BMW keeps footing the bill and everyone gets paid? I do, because even with being under warranty, you have to deal with the lack of loaners, not offering rental cars like some dealers do, paying for Uber to and from the dealer, risk of other stuff being broken in the process, and the overall time suck of it all. There was also a part on order that I ended up buying myself out of pocket and installing (took only one week to deliver to my house, and luckily I know how to research Service Bulletins) since it's been several weeks and no word on it being delivered to the dealer. For my unresolved issue, at this point I'm done taking it in and will try a different route. Given these points, I think my overall experience has been Average, though I would still recommend the Service Department for maintenance and even warranty work. I would think long and hard about out of warranty work, given their hourly rate, parts markup, the other options available, and risk of the parts cannon. At the end of the day, it comes down to who works on your car; the Service Advisor isn't the one turning the wrench. More
