I have been a BMW owner and enthusiast for years. Recently, I purchased a BMW from BMW of Norwood. I had to have my first visit with their service department yesterday. BMW Norwood isn’t even worth one star. My service advisor was Leanne. She was excellent. When she realized that she had made a mistake, she corrected it immediately. On 09/18 I purchase My service advisor was Leanne. She was excellent. When she realized that she had made a mistake, she corrected it immediately. On 09/18 I purchased 4 new tires at BMW Norwood because there was a promotion of buying 3 tires and 4th one for just $1. I also mentioned to Leanne that I had a hard time to upgrade BMW software, hopefully the technician would do it for me. I dropped off the car, got the loaner and took off. Because taking off Leanne called me and told me that oil change was due next month and convinced me I can do the tires and oil change at the same time. I told Leanne that I didn’t want to go back and forth because my inspection was also due next month. And I can do oil change and inspection next time when I came in. Leanne wasn’t happy about that. Since then I never heard anything about whether all my 4 tires were installed or not. No phone calls. No texts. At 5:50pm I was pumping gas into my loaner at the gas station across the dealership. At 5:56 pm Leanne called me and quoted me the price of upgrading the software, not even a word about the installation of 4 tires. When I arrived at the dealer. Everybody had gone home. Only the cashier was left behind. I told the cashier I wanted to pick up my car and paid. When I looked at the invoice, I was charged regular price on all 4 tires. I told the cashier the whole story. And she couldn’t do anything about it. I said that was false advertising. In other words, my car was held as a collateral. If I don’t pay the regular price, I can’t get my car. Later the cashier got in touch with Leanne, and Leanne told her to give me $250 discount. And then I said each tire costed $349.41. If the 4th tire was only $1, it should be $348.41 off not $250 off. The following day Leanne called and apologized to me for causing me so much headache. I told her I was terrified and I thought I couldn’t get my car back. Then she credited me $100 to make the 4th tire for $1 and waived me $20 tires disposal fee and $20 tires weights fee. When I looked at the invoice, it said so clearly that buy 3 and get 1 for $1. It also said that the promised time was 4:00 pm. After I refused to do the oil change, I was totally ignored by Leanne. No phone call, no texting. Even when she called me at 5:46 pm, 4 minutes before she were done for the day, she didn’t even say a word if my car was ready to pick up. Getting treated like that I’ll never go back to this dealership. The service advisor Leanne needs to be disciplined. More
