Gross incompetence/ complete disregard for customer safety I brought my 2016 BMW X5 for a scheduled oil change on 11/6/2017. On 11/24/2017, we were driving to Cape Cod and, upon parking the car, the oil light I brought my 2016 BMW X5 for a scheduled oil change on 11/6/2017. On 11/24/2017, we were driving to Cape Cod and, upon parking the car, the oil light came on. I went to find a service station and the car died in the middle of the road. After having the car towed to BMW of Cape Cod, it was determined that the drain plug was missing and BMW Gallery had failed to tighten it properly. The engine had seized. BMW Gallery did the bare minimum to repair the vehicle and a subsequent analysis of the oil determined that there were excessive levels of metal remaining in the oil, meaning unequivocally that they failed to repair the vehicle properly. They are a complete disgrace to the BMW brand and should be avoided at all costs. They care nothing about their customers nor do they ever do the right thing by them. They are all about containing their costs at the expense of the customer's safety and comfort. I am forced to litigate this matter as they couldn't see fit to admit their mistake or repair the vehicle correctly. More

Explained what I was looking for: oil change, tire rotation, inspection sticker and diagnosis of the check engine light. The service department closes at 4pm on Saturday, so by 2:30 pm I called to get a status update. Let a message with the service advisor and received a call back at 3:30 pm. Was informed that the thermostat needed to be replaced and would be covered under the warranty. But, could I leave the car until Monday as they had not finished it. Humm, you have had the car over 7 hours and you are calling me now? So, I agreed to the time frame stating I would pick up the car between 4 -5 pm on Monday. On Monday afternoon, 2 pm, I receive a call from the service advisor that the car is ready. At 4:00 pm I arrive and am told that they are just finishing up the car; putting the inspection sticker on the windshield. Contradicting the phone call that I earlier received. So I waited, and waited .. then at 4:45 pm I go asking about the car. The service advisor has no idea what is going on with the car. He asks me what the issue is. Had to point out to him that it is his job to know what is going on with the car not me. Do your job. Well, the car was not washed nor vacuumed, just sitting somewhere on the lot. They have had the car for over three days and it still is not ready. Finally, at 5:15 I leave. So today, I noticed that my tires have not been rotated. There are certain scratches on the rims and I noticed that the ones that are on the front passenger side are still on the front passenger side. So unless they remove the tires from the rims, it appears the tire rotation was not done. What a sham of a company. More

Dan MacDonald will try to up-sell you on things you really do not need. Be very careful and stay away!!! More
