Diappointed in the service discussion I went in for a oil change and was told I needed a new engine. They didn't offer any services to extend the life of the engine. It was obvious that they simply wanted to sell me a new car. It made me never want to do business with the dealership again. Every time I go in they try and make me feel some sort of guilt over the sludge in the engine. This car was bought used and I had no control over the engine sludge. I have faithfully had the oil changed but even had the technician talk about the oil filter on a recent oil change because it was not done at the dealership. The technician said, "All I'm saying is you are going to need a new engine one day." Couldn't that argument be made about every single car on the road today. I mentioned I was going to be buying a new car in the next three months. Instead of giving me great service and making sure the car lasted that three months, they tried to use guilt and ridicule to entice me to buy a car today. It turned me off on the whole dealership. I had to pay for diagnostics of some $200 to have the mechanic tell me I needed a new engine. I would bet my paycheck there is not a single code that comes back and says, "Dump the engine and replace with new one." Instead of giving me a $1000 in needed repairs to keep me going for another three months they took my $200 for nothing and sent me down the road. More

Failed on just about every level I set up everything online before I went to the dealership. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment. They didn't give any indication of why they devalued the car after their five-minute inspection. I suspect they were just low-balling. Only when I insisted did they give me the pre-arranged, fair trade-in value. I completed a credit application online. I had to wait over an hour to meet the finance person at the dealership. Once I was ready to take delivery, the salesman had already moved on to another customer, so the questions I had were handed off to a receptionist who couldn't even operate the menu. Once I got home (60 miles away), I realized most of the paperwork I signed wasn't in the folder. It was apparently still in the salesman's office, which I didn't get back into because he'd moved on. I contacted him and was told that he would mail it. Three weeks later, I still haven't received it. Speaking of contacting the salesman (Tory Thrash), when I called, I was sent to his voicemail, which was full and couldn't record any messages. I had to hang up, call back, explain to reception, finally get him on the phone, then ask for paperwork I should have had and never got. A week later, I found a key in the car to another of their used cars. I contacted them to ask if they'd like it back. They responded immediately that they would send a prepaid envelope the next day so that I could mail it back to them. Thirteen days later, I haven't received that either, so the next owner of that car won't have all the keys that go with it. More

They made it easy to buy a car. Unbelievable! I was shopping for a car for my son just after having shopped for a used car myself for three weeks, which was a nightmare. My son totaled my Volvo a month ago, so I was car shopping, then my son's Mitsubishi Montero bit the dust. I finally found a great 2011 BMW 328i for myself at a Honda dealership of all places. Then I went shopping for my son and found another 2011 BMW 328i in Macon (we live in Decatur, GA) with the identical mileage as my new car. I drove down, we checked out the car, and the dealership allowed me to take the car to Atlanta to be inspected by our long-time mechanic. It needed about $1800 of work, so we sat down with the sales manager at BMW of Macon and worked out a very satisfactory deal on the car. We had the work done by our mechanic. Everyone at Macon BMW was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. I would give them the highest rating. Good people. My initial experience shopping for a car was really awful, so I especially appreciated the straightforward, no-nonsense and very accommodating treatment we received at BMW of Macon. More

Sales Department I worked with Phil Dean mostly over the phone, since I live in Tx, but found a car tha was just what I was looking for online. After agreeing to make the purchase, my wife and I drove a rental car to Macon and Phil was such a gentleman to come pick us up and take to dealership to complete the transaction. He also followed up to make sure we made it back to Tx. He was a delight to work with!! More

Since receiving all of the signed paperwork on Friday, 2/15/19, he said the car would ship Tues night or Wed morning. It's now Thursday and we have zero response from him with any updates on the shipment. We are lifetime BMW owners and this has been the most disappointing of all our purchases. Definitely feels like "do everything you can to get the business" and then NO follow-through. Every time we've heard from him since Friday is when WE initiated asking for an update. Since we can't get a response, hopefully someone will see this and respond promptly. More
