I pride myself as an unrepentant "data junkie" who devoted a full year to get up to speed. Despite such perserverence, Mike Prince and JP the inimitable "BMW Genius" support staff clearly helped me avoid overspending on sevral features to the tune of nearly 7 Gs. So pick their brains for all they're worth. Out of the dozen or so brands I scrutinized in the past year -- Acura/Lexus/Porsche/Mazda as well -- none can hold a candle to this BMW standout particularly wrt risk mitigation / quality management with its exceptional work culture. I kid you not: I put them through the paces. More
