My initial encounter with Mr. Cochran was by telephone. Mr. Cochran was very helpful with my decision to purchase a 320 XI. I really appreciated his suggestions in helping me choose color, options and accessories. I really appreciated how he helped me chose colors and design that was right for me. During the building phase Mr. Cochran kept me up to date on status and delivery time. He was always available whenever I needed to speak with him. Upon my arrival at the West German BMW on June 20, 2013 I was greeted by Mr. Cochran with a smile and a warm handshake. he escorted me to his office were we spoke for a few minutes. After completion of paper work with the finance department, Mr. Cochran then presented my vehicle to me. He then demonstrated all the inner workings and functions of the vehicle. I appreciated that he took extra time to demonstrate all of the inner workings and functions of my car. Thanks to Mr. Cochran I am very satisfied happy BMW owner. I have only had my new car for a few weeks and already I am looking forwarded to doing business with Mr. Cochran and West German BMW again. More

I have purchased automobiles a number of times over the past 40 years. The most enjoyable experience I have had in that endeavor was the recent purchase of a BMW from West German. My wife and I started our new car search about two months before the purchase so that we had adequate time to check out various brands and dealerships. We first stopped into West German at the start of our search and were assigned to Jim Brody. Jim took us for a leisurely test drive and pointed out the various features of the car. At the conclusion of our initial visit, we asked him not to call us and that if we decided to purchase a BMW, we would get back to him. Jim honored our request. When we showed up two months later for a second test drive and a pricing discussion, Jim allowed us time for a lengthy test drive using a car that was as close to the one we modeled as was available. After that, he spend time with us discussing various option packages and alternatives. He actually listened to what we wanted and made useful suggestions. We had done some serious pricing using all of the internet and pricing programs available to us, and so had a very strong sense of what we were willing to pay for the car. Jim and West German were able to meet our pricing requirements, which no other dealer that we checked with was willing to do. He even told us about an additional $750 price reduction that was available to us and which we used. Jim told us that it would take about 8 to 10 weeks for our car to arrive, since we had made some non-standard option selections and deletions. Jim kept us advised of the progress and when the car arrived 9 weeks later, met with us to review its operations. We have had the car for two weeks now, and remain extremely pleased. More

Brought my car in for a warranted window that was not working, and what a disaster. Got the car back to find that they had left parts in the back seat that they forgot to reinstall in the door. Had to bring the car back, and the excuses for their stupidity were off the charts! The female service advisor, who knows nothing about cars spen 15 minutes explaining to me that all of this may not be covered under warranty. The car develops a multitude of other issues all stemming from their faulty work, and they just try to dance around it. I grabbed the keys back, and brought the car back to my regular dealer (De Simone BMW) and, as usual, they fixed everything without any questions asked. I've never dealt with such a bunch of amateurs in my life........ THEY ARE AWFUL! More

I visited several BMW dealerships in the area while looking for a new pre-owned BMW. At West German BMW I found not only the best selection, but I also had the best relationship with a dealer. My dealer was no overly pushy as some dealers can be. However, she did help me when needed and followed up with me both prior to and after I made my purchase. I have been to several dealerships in my lifetime and this was my best experience so far. Not only did Tina make me feel comfortable while test driving and purchasing my car, but also weeks after my purchase. I will highly recommend West German and Tina Van Deursen for any of my friends looking to purchase a car. More
