At any point I had a question or concern, the client advisor, Mark Wisniewski provided a prompt and complete response. It was a bit of a wait for the car, largely due to BMW's production and the sales staff was very up front and honest about the delivery timetable and the allocation. My husband and I recently purchased an X3 at West German BMW. We were so pleased were with our purchasing experience. Throughout the process, we were very fortunate to work with Rob Ridgway. Rob did such a terrific job from when we first spoke on the phone to set up an appointment all the way until we drove our new car off the lot. His down-to-earth demeanor and approachability made us comfortable right away. Rob provided excellent guidance as we narrowed down our choices of options; we felt that we could trust his recommendations and definitely knew we were in good hands. Rob was very patient as we went through the decision-making process of where to purchase the car. He was attentive but not overly-aggressive in his salesmanship. We spoke with multiple dealerships in the area. Although there were dealerships which were located closer to us, a large factor in our final decision to purchase from West German was the positive relationship Rob had built with us. Once we ordered the car, Rob continued to do a great job of communicating with us and keeping us up-to-date. When the car finally arrived, the final steps of purchasing the car couldn't have gone more smoothly. Rob carefully walked me through the features of the car and did a wonderful job of explaining everything. In addition, he has followed-up to make sure that all is well with our new X3. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with Rob and West German. We'll certainly be letting our friends and family know this as well! More
I had purchased a new 328XI in November of 2011. The car was only 3 months old when I was sitting at a red light and was rear ended by another driver who was traveling at a high rate of speed. I brought my car in to have it inspected (2000 323ci convertible) Even though the car is 11 years old they treated me like I was driving an M6. I was surprised by the need for replacement of parts t convertible) Even though the car is 11 years old they treated me like I was driving an M6. I was surprised by the need for replacement of parts that another repair shop had installed only a year previously and when I went back to the previous shop, they told me no way they should have replaced those parts! they made me believe that they used only BMW parts. to make a long story short, West German BMW went out of their way to honor the 2 year parts warranty on the parts they replaced even though they really didn't have to. It turned out that the previous mechanic had lied to me and when I requested the invoices for the BMW parts, he sheepishly told me "they were aftermarket parts." They made me look like a fool because I was angry at West German BMW and during the process, I was kind of a jerk to them because I thought they did unnecessary repairs. West German BMW never lost their cool, they conducted their business with integrity and completely exposed the other mechanic shop I had used for what it was: a low budget shop that does shoddy work with sub standard parts. Even after I was rude, and in spite of the fact that they did nothing wrong, West German BMW knocked a significant amount off the repair bill. They won my business for as long as I live in the area! I liked best about my experience with West German was their integrity. When I first contacted the dealership about the car I was looking for they told me it was on the lot and when I arrived it was.
