However, I have a major complaint about BMW engineering, specifications, and quality of parts. For the 2009 328i: During this service, $500 was spent to replace the transfer case shaft seals. During a previous service, $500 was spent to replace the oil filter housing gasket. It is recommended to spend another $1,700 to replace the oil pan gasket. For our 2007 X3: During a previous service, $500 was spent to replace the oil filter housing gasket. During a previous service, $250 was spent to replace the left rear axle seal. During a previous service, $1,100 was spent to replace the valve cover gasket. It is recommended to spend another $1,700 to replace the oil pan gasket. This is $2,850 already spent on gaskets and seals and another $3,400 of recommended spending for more gaskets! That's over $6,200 for gaskets and seals! In this day of modern materials and millions of miles of data, it is absurd that BMW German engineering cannot get this right. BMW's are expensive enough to maintain. To spend this amount of money for leaks is ridiculous. Gerry Socha More

However, everywhere I went, I felt either ignored or pressured by sales associates. When I arrived at the BMW dealership, I thought it was going to be the same old story for me. I was relieved when I realized that the BMW dealership culture was the exact opposite of my prior experiences. Chris at BMW took the time to make sure that I was taken care of and got what I needed. Unlike other dealerships, Chris helped me find the best car for me and my budget. He never pressured me and was always courteous. He showed me several cars and allowed me to vet my options. He made sure I was confident with my selection. When a problem arose with the paperwork, he went above and beyond to address the issue. After the sale, Chris took the time to answer my questions about the car and would periodically check in to make sure I was entirely satisfied with my X1. I must say that my experience with Chris is unparalleled and will keep me coming back to BMW for years to come. Thank you for such a smooth and wonderful experience. More

Easier Than Buying a Swimsuit! I am pregnant with our 1st child. We knew a newer car was in our future as our BMW 325 is too small for a carseat and the other car is nearing 200,000 I am pregnant with our 1st child. We knew a newer car was in our future as our BMW 325 is too small for a carseat and the other car is nearing 200,000 miles. In all honesty we had our hearts set on a Land Rover Discovery, but in a last minute decision we decided to look at the X1,X3,&X5 model BMW. We did not look at said models at BMW Cincinnati but other dealerships. After our test drive at another dealership we knew what we wanted, but narrowing down the price and options was the trick. Neither my husband nor I wanted lots of options, just something simple and safe. We found the car we wanted in DC and were on our way to pick it up when we heard about BMW of Cincinnati. After finding a model that best fit our needs we called and offered a price we were comfortable with. Turns out, BMW of Cincinnati was comfortable with our price as well. Clay walked us through the process over the phone and when we arrived, 2 days later, our vehicle was waiting for us all papers ready to go. We didn't have to haggle, we didn't have to wait for HOURS, we just walked in, signed, learned a little about our new ride and were on our way. We hadn't even looked at the car in person until the day we arrived, but felt comfortable with our interactions. This honestly was the BEST buying experience ever- it was easier buying this vehicle than purchasing a swimsuit or a pair of jeans! We have told everyone to check out BMW of Cincinnati, even if they aren't in the market for a BMW. The service, generosity, and down right human to human interaction is what makes this dealership stand out. We will be back - for our next BMW, post baby! Maybe I'll get my convertible then!!! More

Tire Replacement Visit I developed a persistent slow tire pressure leak on a tire. After a couple of days, I was able to see some wire sticking out of the tire tread. I believe that this was due to hitting a small steel water meter opening in the road about 2 weeks before which I think broke a steel belt. I was planning on new tires in October but this made the necessary purchase come sooner. Jeff Page was able to schedule my car in within 2 days and had the tires replaced. we also discussed eventual battery and front brake replacement in the future. More
